3 days had gone by, and his family was still looking for him. Lopez was the only one to know that the beast was even alive. Everybody moved on from what had happened. Why shouldn't they? It was a horrible experience for everybody...
Lopez's wife, Jessica, was worried. She had been going outside a lot in the hopes of finding him. She put up copied portraits of her husband on signposts, poles, and others.
Finally, on the night of April 9th, she heard him. It was raspy, but him. She started running, calling out his name. She turned the corner, looking towards the block. The dim lights of a lamppost lit up his torn body. "Jessica... r-run..!" he called. A insect-like creature crawled out of his mouth.
Jessica, scared as hell, made a dash away. The creature didn't have time for her. It spewed a silk-like foam into Lopez's mouth and gutted body. The bloodless was stopped by the foam, trapping in the blood. Lopez became bloated as it filled him like air in a balloon. His arms were tied by the same foam to a tree.
Jessica ran to the local police station, responded by a laughter.
"Lady, monsters aren't real. You probably saw some skunk being eaten by a large roach."
"I'm telling you, this is serious! I saw my husband hanging there like some kind of swing set!"
"Lady, it's okay. We'll dispatch a few men to see the problem."
"Oh, thank you! I need him back safe! Please insure it!"
"Will do!"
Jessica had left the station soon later.
"So, you gonna do anything?"
"Nah. She prolly had some nightmare or is drunk as fuck!"
"Yeah, you're prolly right."
Lopez was crying as the creature sprayed foam around his neck. A hatching sound came from his mouth soon. The creature went on top of the tree branch he hung from and sprayed foam to the back of Lopez's neck. Then, it snapped the foam holding his arms.
*SNIP!*
Lopez died instantly. The creature ripped off his head, the body falling to the ground, and shook it violently. Out came 50 tiny little bastards of the same species.
Jessica had bought a few doughnuts, and was heading towards her husband so that she could comfort him. Once she arrived, she screamed as her eyes were gouged out and her life went black.
The parasites were making a feast out of the remains of the couple. Before they could finish, the ground rumbled beneath them and a huge mound lifted in the air, flinging the bugs and killing them. A crocodilian head popped out of the ground, feasting on the remains of the couple and the parasites that had previously infested it. Finally, it let out a deafening roar.
