The HeiseiMosuImago (平成モス成虫?, HeiseiMosuSeichū) is the Mothra Imago puppetdesign used in the 1992Godzillafilm, Godzilla vs. Mothra, as well as the 1996Mothrafilm, Rebirth of Mothra.
In Godzilla vs. Mothra, the HeiseiMosuImago's name comes from Heisei (平成?), Mosu, from Mothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra's Imago form.
In Rebirth of Mothra, the ReoMosuImago's name comes from another kaiju's name, Mothra Leo (モスラレオ?), Mosu, from Mothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra's Imago form.
Detail[]
Everything about this Mothra Imago design is done similarly to the ShodaiMosuImago design, but the legs of this Mothra Imago design look more like bird legs. In Rebirth of Mothra, the antennae were remolded, and now look like actual butterfly antennae. This puppet is known as the ReoMosuImago (レオモス成虫?, ReoMosuSeichū) in Rebirth of Mothra.
