The RaishuFairy's name comes from Rebirth of Mothra III's Japanese title, specifically the word raishū (来襲?), meaning attacks, and Fairy, which comes from Fairy Mothra's name.

The RaishuFairy is radically different than the previous ReoFairy. Its wing pattern has been changed completely, though keeping some of the same colors, its eyes are smaller and more pronounced white eye fur. It has a spot on its forehead and, similarly to its predecessor, legs with black joints, more defined claws or 'feet', and a black underside.
