Name

The ShodaiGame's name comes from shodai (初代?), meaning first generation, and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Barugon, the BaruGame's name comes from the name of Gamera's foe, Barugon (バルゴン?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Gyaos, the GyaoGame's name comes from the name of another monster that appeared in the film, Gyaos (ギャオス?) and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Viras, the BairaGame's name comes Bairasu, which comes from the Japanese name of another monster that appears in the film, Viras (バイラス?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Guiron, the GironGame's name comes from Giron, which is the Japanese name of Guiron (ギロン?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Jiger, the JaigaGame's name comes from Jaiga, which is the Japanese name of Jiger (ジャイガ?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera vs. Zigra, the JiguraGame's name comes from Jigura, which is the Japanese name of Zigra (ジグラ?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

In Gamera: Super Monster, the UchuGame's name comes from the film's Japanese title, specifically Uchu (宇宙?), and Game, which comes from Gamera (ガメラ?).

Detail

The ShodaiGame is based off that of a turtle, has five clawed fingers on each hand, three toes, and a long tail. The front of the ShodaiGame's shell has a brick-like pattern on it. The ShodaiGame's eyes were originally very violent-looking, but they were toned down in Gamera vs. Barugon, before finally becoming friendly-looking in Gamera vs. Gyaos.

The suit became rigid in Gamera: Super Monster, and thus, was only usable in a few new scenes as a flying prop.
