The TokyoKamo's name comes from the film's Japanese title, specifically Tōkyō (東京?), and Kamo, which comes from Kamoebas' name.

The TokyoKamo remained mostly unchanged from the ShodaiKamo, but there are some differences. The puppet had a dark blue color as opposed to a rock-brown one, but it kept the spiky, rocky shell, and its tail was enlarged. The TokyoKamo's face remains mostly the same as the ShodaiKamo's, although what its eye color is is unknown. It lost the fangs from the ShodaiKamo, but kept the small teeth, and the extendable neck. The bottom of its claws are a light brown color, which could mean the rest of its underside has that color as well. The left side of TokyoKamo's neck has a bloody scar, which was made by Godzilla.
