Godzilla Singular Point is doing it's own weird thing. It's like abstract artwork that if you stare at it long enough you can see the fanservice easter eggs inside.

US adaptations like the Hanna Barbera cartoon series, the 90's novels and the Monsterverse movies have to reverently adapt the material.

But in Japan they have been making Godzilla stuff for nearly 60 years so the creators of the new stuff feel no need to do another version of things we have already seen. We've seen this with Shin Godzilla and Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.

I think this show is amazing.

If they just did the same thing over and over again it would've gotten old.

I haven't actullly watched the series, but I'm thinking about getting the Godzilla Ultima S.H. moster arts figre. the tail looks so playable
