I can get him evolving into something more powerful, but in a fight? Yeah, not happening. Requires way too much in such little time.

Shin was OP in the context that the human cast had never seen something like him before and he could counter most military forces pretty well. Against other kaiju, it'd be a different story, where it would either require Shin to be pre-evolved pretty high or he'd be given time to adapt

Basically a Godzilla that has the Thing vibes, and lycanthropical ability all combined altoghether

Shin Godzilla's design is peak with the OG(s) Godzilla's designs because it's unique. However, that doesn't remove the fact that his capabilities is extremely overrated, he would be dead if he fought opponents above city level and the movie while being very good is also overrated af (even more overrated than Spiderman No Way Home). The film that MCU fans praise through oblivion even with tons of MCU humors/jokes, I don't even know why Critical Drinker prefer NWH over DC Strange MoM since he don't like cringe humor.

@A Mysterious Wraith true, Shin Gojira film was made for the OG fans of Godzilla and also the new incomers of the G franchise to fall love over again on godzilla, it was never meant to show how strong ShinG is. Infact, the director doesn't even give a sh*t into making like feats statements or scale Shin or something. What he cares about is the Godzilla fans and that's why this movie was created with passion/love (apart from the bad CGI on some scenes and the characters but ya know what it doesn't matter), I still like the movie. But G-fans have to stop putting this kaiju in a fight because he was never meant to be in a death battle..
