For those who have no idea what I'm on about, "Hero Zero" is a character created by Dark Horse Comics in 1993 as part of their superhero universe.
The best way to describe him is to take elements of Ben 10, Iron Man and Ultraman and mix them in a blender, with the end result been "Hero Zero". His identity is David MacRae, a 13-year old boy from Nevada who (not shown in the comics) bonded with an alien supercomputer - resembling a gem-like metallic sphere - that he calls 'Zero', with this computer been embedded in his chest and allowing him to transform into a size-changing, armored superhero:

His powers included:
Been able to fly/swim at fast speeds.
Growing up to 92 meters tall.
Shrinking down to the size of a cell.
Superhuman Strength.
Telepathy (with Zero, who serves as his mentor).
Heat Vision (reportedly, although not shown in the comics).
Emergency Power Boost (given to him by Zero in certain situations, although it drastically shortens David's time as Hero Zero).
The character sadly didn't get many adventures due to lack of popularity and the 1990's comic crash.
After having a single solo story where he fought against a monster called "Siphon" (also known as the 'Mesa Monster'), the rest of his stories would be part of crossovers - notably fighting a Chinese Dragon made from the combined form of multiple demons, assisting Zero's creator ("The Man from the Vortex", or "Vortex" for short) against a trio of Destroyers, a rather awkward fight against "The Mask" and finally fighting against Vortex himself (alongside another superhero named Grace) to try to convince him not to destroy his work - which would include Zero; the pair succeeding in convincing him.
However, the crossover most people know Hero Zero for was his 1995 crossover with Godzilla:
In that story, David, his Dad and his friend Billy travel to the San Diego Comic Con. However, due to David's careless actions as Hero Zero beforehand where he was testing his aquatic mode in the ocean, an angered Godzilla ends up traveling to San Diego as well; forcing the two to fight.
(I won't spoil the comic ending; if you want it spoiled, read the Hero Zero Gojipedia page).
So, with all that said, if Dark Horse ever did another run with Godzilla (or alternatively with Gamera, as they also did comics that take place between the first two films of the Heisei Gamera Trilogy), would you like to see Hero Zero make a return for a fight/team up?
Curious to see what you guys think.
