FIGHT!
M.O.G.U.E.R.A. immediately re-eliminates Ebirah. The Mysterian must really hate seafood.
Varan smothers Gorosaurus, and Baragon makes the dinosaur trip and break his back. The two forge their peace treaty and go their separate ways.
Hedorah gets Jet Jaguared and does not survive.
Mechagodzilla shoots Rodan out of the sky. Megalon jumps for joy and uppercuts the pterosaur, which knocks him unconscious and later kills him when his skull smashes into the rocky countryside.
Showa Kong wrecks MOGUERA like you wouldn’t believe.
Anguirus smokes Varan the Unbelievable. Killer of the Living indeed.
Megalon gets sweet revenge on Jet Jaguar, reducing the hero to scrap metal.
Mothra ties Baragon up with silk and cruelly throws him into the water to drown.
Gigan effortlessly puts an end to Anguirus, Killer of the Living.
Mechagodzilla suplexes King Kong and throws him at Gigan, who holds his arm straight and kills the ape once more.
Mothra proceeds to grab and throw Megalon into the water, but not before filling his windpipe, spiracles, and throat with silk. Two must die, one must go on.
Mechagodzilla grabs Gigan and rips him in half, and throws the birdborg carcass away before it can explode. It’s the doppelganger vs. the goddess, machine vs. nature now.
Ultimately, Mechagodzilla grabs Mothra and throws her down. He rips her wings off and throws her into a few buildings before crushing her abdomen and burning the remains. The ships go and retrieve the weapon.

Daghara is immediately killed by Desghidorah before the match even starts. The Dorats are thrown out of the ring entirely by Cretaceous King Ghidorah. The ships signal the proper start of the Redemption Round.
FIGHT!!
Super Mechagodzilla is blown up by MechaGhidorah rather instantaneously.
MOGUERA proceeds to blow up Cretaceous King, with help from the Mothras. After that, Desghidorah bites Mothra out of the air and kills her via dismemberment, to Mothra Leo’s chagrin. With help from Rodan and Heisei Kong, Mothra Leo puts an end to Desghidorah…again.
Mecha Ghidorah shoots Heisei Rodan out of the air. After which, MOGUERA impales the pterosaur through the stomach. Spacegodzilla pulls a U-turn and slams into MOGUERA, shattering it into pieces.
Battra gets his sweet revenge on Heisei Kong, electrocuting him before throwing him into SpaceGodzilla, who butchers the ape with a Death Corona Beam through the skull.
Mechaghidorah strikes again, ripping Mothra Leo apart with ease. Battra and Spacegodzilla turn around, and have a standoff.
Using the crystals, Spacegodzilla impales Mechaghidorah several times. Battra finishes the bot off. Coming to a sort of mutual agreement, Battra leaves the ring and retreats before the ships can catch him. Spacegodzilla roars in triumph as he is taken to Round Two.
As the rules have stated, only one contestant from the Redemption Rounds can move on with the rest of the group. Mechagodzilla and Spacegodzilla are both unique cases as they are both Godzillas by category. Millennium had no Godzillas in the winners' roster, and Reiwa had only Godzillas. Let's see how that'll change in Part 2!
Gojira: Kingdom is the Kaiju project that I've worked the most on, but it isn't the only project I'm working on which involves Godzilla.
Evangelion Reborn is a fanfic of mine which takes place after End of Evangelion and focuses on the pilots as adults. The main antagonists of this story aren't the Angels, and instead, they will be facing new threats from within the Earth.
Kaiju have existed on Earth for many, many years, however, they've been in hibernation for decades. That was until Third Impact happened, which awakened them in modern day. Also, unlike Gojira: Kingdom, I'm not going to exclusively focus on Toho Kaiju because many of the Kaiju here are either original Kaiju or are from other franchises.
One Kaiju in particular is more powerful than most, and he's one of the reasons why the other Kaiju have been awakening around the world.
Godzilla is an ancient Apex predator who many of the Kaiju fear. Because of his awakening, he's been scaring Kaiju away from his territory which has led to them coming up to the surface, and it's also led to them attacking cities around the world as they try to establish a new home for themselves. But eventually, Godzilla himself rises from the depths, hungry for domination.
Now, unlike the Godzilla in Gojira: Kingdom, this one isn't a protagonist. He genuinely takes pleasure in killing others because he sees himself as an actual deity, and in his mind, anything beneath him doesn't deserve to live on the same planet as him.
Godzilla is extremely aggressive, territorial, and competitive. He's the kind of Kaiju who likes to draw out a fight for longer than it has to just because he enjoys dominating his opponents. He's also quite arrogant because he often goes into a fight not knowing what his opponent is like, and because of his history, he often believes that he will win without a doubt in his mind.
As you can see, Godzilla's design is very much inspired by Millennium Godzillas, specifically, KiryuGoji. He has a short snout, spikes on his neck, spikes on his chest, and armor plating on his underbelly. He also has long arms, and giant dorsal spikes with triangles inside of them that light up when he charges his energy attacks. He also has prominent brows and ears, along with spikes on his arms. In terms of size, he's 405 feet tall and 670 feet long. And his Atomic Breath isn't like the usual one where it's blue, his is orange, inspired by Godzilla 2000. Also, before he actually shoots his Atomic Breath, a small, thin, red beam shoots out of his eyes and stabs his opponent. This beam is called a "Punisher Sting". Godzilla uses it to paralyze his targets so that when he shoots his breath, he won't miss. He can also transfer his energy throughout his body, like for example, he can cause a shockwave of heat if he transfers his energy to his feet and he stomps hard. Also, as for his colors, his eye color is a fiery amber, his main color is a dark, navy blue, his underbelly is a dark red color, his dorsal spikes are a bony color, and the triangles inside of them are also navy blue. Also, while it's not visible here, he does have thagomizer spikes on his tail.
Godzilla was first sighted in 2025 when he was en route to Tokyo Minus which was the new capital of Japan. In Tokyo Bay, he was intercepted by a 24 year old Shinji Ikari, piloting Eva Unit 01. At first, he paid no mind to the Evangelion, simply continuing his stroll towards the city. However, Eva Unit 01 quickly engaged, provoking Godzilla.
Adult Shinji fought with Godzilla for only ten minutes. Also, side note, the Evas have been upgraded extensively in this series, like how they have a completely new piloting system based on motion controls and they only ever shut down if their pilot is knocked out. While Shinji did put up a good fight, managing to keep Godzilla away from the civilians as they evacuated, one blast of Godzilla's Atomic Breath was enough to put Unit 01 out of commission for a while, and it also sent Shinji into a coma for a few days.
Throughout the series, Godzilla would often clash with NERV and the newly formed Eva Squad, with Shinji specifically developing a rivalry with Godzilla after their first fight. However, Godzilla was about to meet his match, because later on, a being even more terrifying than the Angels would present itself.
The being who was the reason why Adam, the first Angel, ended up on Earth... That being, was Shin Ghidorah. Gendo Ikari, Shinji's father, was working with a rival organization and was responsible for awakening Ghidorah for the soul purpose of eliminating both Godzilla and the Evangelions.
Also, as a bonus, I also have a sketch of one of the characters in this story. And here she is.
If you watch Evangelion, you probably know about Toji Suzuhara, Shinji's former bully turned friend who used to hate Shinji because Eva Unit 01's fight with the Third Angel sent Toji's sister to a hospital. Well, his sister does show up in this series and not only that, but she becomes an Eva Pilot just like her brother.
Sakura Suzuhara is pretty much the baby sister of the Eva Squad since she's the youngest of them, only being 14 years old. She has long, spiky hair, hair clips, a confident expression, and a plugsuit. If you're wondering what the suit's color is, it's mainly a vibrant purple with black accents. And as you can see on her suit, she's going to be the pilot of Eva Unit 03. Although, thankfully, this version of Unit 03 is one that was made separately from the original and is called "Eva Unit 03-RE". And this version does not end up getting possessed like the original Unit 03. Also, the quote she has in the drawing is pretty much her most prominent line which is "YOSHA!!!" or "ALRIGHT!!!". Let's just say that out of all of the Eva pilots, she's the most energetic one.
Also, this Godzilla design also has its own name like my PinoGoji design for Gojira: Kingdom. His name is AnnoGoji, named after the creator of the Evangelion franchise, Hideaki Anno.
Also, if you're wondering why the signature on the Godzilla Vs. Eva Unit 01 drawing is different, it's because my brother helped with drawing Unit 01. And it's also possible that AnnoGoji's design might change in the future.
What do you think?
Friend Ping:
I am a 15-year-old Godzilla fan who has been one ever since Godzilla (2014) released. I am here to tell you about a fan series i've been working on lately called "Godzilla: Monarch of Monsters"
Think of it as some kind of reboot of Godzilla: The Series from 1998-2000, but with Toho monsters included.
Here are the characters:
Godzilla/Gojira
This version of Godzilla takes inspiration from Zilla Jr, The Rulers of Earth version of Godzilla, and The Showa Godzilla. This Godzilla is the second Godzilla to appear 70 years after the 1954 Godzilla attacks, this one being more heroic unlike the first Godzilla.
Melissa, John, and Sensor
In the series, Melissa is a scientist who observes each monster's capabilities, weakness, and biology, John is a G-Force general who keeps track of Godzilla, and Sensor is John's assistant who tracks nearby kaiju and reminds John or Melissa for any incoming kaiju.
The Death Chill and Nessie
The Death Chill is a giant abominable snowman who lurks in Norway causing freezing temperatures, while Nessie is your usual depiction of The Loch Ness Monster, but way more sympathetic.
Mapinguari and Charlotte
Mapinguari is a giant sloth-like kaiju who ravages the Amazon rainforest and villages for sport, while Charlotte is an irradiated gila monster who is a tragic victim of radioactive waste, causing her to become a kaiju.
Overall, i hope you like what i'm currently doing, and i wish this series gets released to the public soon. See you later in the next post, Godzilla fandom.

Yeah, going to be honest these are bad.
I mean, at least Megatron has a blast effect that is blue. I'm probably going to get him.
(DNA, PLEASE make a kit for these.)

Duration: Unknown. As long as the heat is still present, it will continue to function until Gojira powers down or if he explodes.
Cause of activation: Extreme Heat.
Appearance:
Burning Gojira is far more muscular than Gojira's base form, mainly because his skin is constantly burning and expanding at the same time like a balloon. He has a square shaped head, fangs, and has two long arms with four fingers, muscular legs with four claws, and a long tail. Unlike his base form, this form is filled with many veins on his back, eyes, and tail, along with burn patches on his chest, shoulders, and legs. He also has smoke coming out of his mouth and under his feet. And his spikes are also very different, they look more like flames than his base dorsal spikes. His eyes also don't have pupils.
Colors:
A lighter shade of black was used for his body and the base of his dorsal spikes. A cream color was used for his teeth and claws, and a vibrant orange was used for his veins, eyes, burn patches, and spikes. A shade of grey was used for the smoke.
Personality & History:
In 2021, Gojira, Radon, and Mosura challenged Emperor Ghidorah to a showdown on his makeshift base atop Mount Fuji. During the fight, Gojira was lifted by Emperor Ghidorah and was thrown into Mount Fuji itself. He also killed Mosura when she tried to shield Radon from Emperor's Gravity Beams. Mosura's life force transferred into Radon, giving him a new form dubbed "Fire Radon".
Fire Radon faired better when it came to fighting Emperor, and though he was now equipped with a new breath attack, it still wasn't enough to take down Emperor Ghidorah.
Deep within Mount Fuji, something was stirring. It turned out that Gojira wasn't dead. Or at least, not yet. His species have the unique ability to absorb heat, however, the heat he was absorbing was overwhelming. He has never experienced anything like it and it felt like his heart was going to explode. This led to his body reacting to this new influx of heat by channeling it and using it to empower Gojira.
The top of Mount Fuji exploded. Gojira emerged with a new form just like Radon, but whereas Radon's form was Mosura's last gift, this new form for Gojira yielded destructive tendencies not only to his enemies, but to himself as well.
As Gojira challenged Emperor again, the three headed dragon was pushed back by the dinosaur's Molten Atomic Pulse. And during the rest of the fight, Gojira tended to use a modified version of his atomic breath many times. The humans who were watching this from afar were confused as to what was going on, mainly because Gojira only ever uses his energy attacks in very specific situations, but in this fight, he kept unloading his breath attack over and over.
Fire Radon also helped. He attacked Ghidorah from behind and targeted the center head. Emperor's wings were burnt to the bone during the last segment of the fight, and Gojira choked the center head and stared it down. With Gojira being frustrated that Emperor killed Mosura who he saw as a mother figure, he decided to give the dragon the most painful death possible. Radon also cut off two of Ghidorah's heads, leaving the center head to Gojira.
He pried Ghidorah mouth open forcefully, then shoved his atomic breath straight down Ghidorah's throat. The burning sensation was so severe, Ghidorah's center head, along with what remained of the two heads that accompanied it, bursted into flames at the base of the necks, and because the heat was too much to handle for the dragon, the flames also came out of their eyes and bled into the main body, causing massive holes to form.
After the fight, Gojira powered down and returned to his base form. He looked at Radon and the two nodded at each other in respect before they went their separate ways.
Ever since then, the Kaiju-Force have been trying to understand what Gojira's new form was and how he gained it. There were many theories, but the one that preveiled the most was Kaiju biologist, Kensuke Maki's theory, which states that Gojira gained the form because of the heat he absorbed and because his body was trying to find a way to contain it, his body converted itself to a state that will be able to stabilize Gojira while keeping the heat contained.
The Shobijin Sisters, Lia and Mia, who were Mosura's Priestesses, revealed that this was not the first instance of a Deusaurus like Gojira gaining this ability, it was actually the third.
In ancient times, the people of Infant Island bared witness to two Deusaurus who managed to gain this form after absorbing a large amount of heat. They called this state "Moerukokoro" which translates to "Heart of Fire". And though this form has been used in the past, it hasn't been seen in over 400 years. But what happened to Gojira was seen as a freak accident to the sisters. Because though this form has been used before, the version that Gojira obtained behaved very differently due to how many times he was using his energy attacks, which led to the Kaiju-Force reconsidering whether or not this form really is beneficial to the Earth. Because at this point, they still didn't fully trust Gojira, so knowing that he could obtain a dangerous form such as this was a terrifying thought that resided in everyone's minds. This form was later dubbed "Burning Gojira" by Yoshido Chujo, the pilot of the Garuda warship.
In 2022, many of the Kaiju around the world, including Gojira and his new family consisting of his mate, Gojirin, and his adopted son, Minira, joined forces to eradicate a new monster that threatened the existence of every being on the planet.
Destoroyah was far more powerful than any Kaiju that Gojira had faced before. So powerful that he was the first Kaiju to make Gojira retreat. After absorbing Minira's DNA, Destoroyah evolved and turned into Perfect Destoroyah which had the unsettling ability to eliminate oxygen from his target, depriving them of the ability to breathe.
During the fight with Destoroyah in Tokyo, many of the Kaiju who Gojira teamed up with were weakened in the last segment of the fight. Gojira, however, stood his ground and kept fighting, but he was slowly losing consciousness as Destoroyah was draining his oxygen. In a desperate attempt to protect The King, Fire Radon stepped in to distract Destoroyah.
Fire Radon led Destoroyah away from Gojira long enough for them to have their own fight. And whilst Fire Radon put up a great fight, even taking out both of Destoroyah's wings, he was downed when Destoroyah sliced Radon's chest open using his Horn Katana. But Radon planned ahead because during the fight, he actually led Destoroyah back to Gojira.
With his dying breath, Radon fell on top of the fallen Gojira. And he proceeded to do what Mosura did to him when she died. Radon faded as his life force entered Gojira's body, and an explosion occured. Burning Gojira was reactivated as he roared ferociously at Destoroyah.
This fight lasted longer than Burning Gojira's fight with Emperor, mainly because Destoroyah's regeneration was extremely fast, and whenever he got desperate, he would separate into multiple Aggregate Destoroyahs to buy the lead Aggregate to recover from his injuries. The longer the fight went on, the more heat came off of Burning Gojira.
During the fight, he tore off Destoroyah's nasal horn which he failed to do earlier, and he even used the horn as a knife and stabbed it into Destoroyah's chest. But the more he fought, the more pain he felt, and halfway through the fight, he began to shoot buildings randomly with his breath attack which confused the people who were observing the fight from afar.
But then they realized why this was happening.
After analyzing Burning Gojira's temperature, Shinzo Mafune, the father of Mechagojiras's pilot, made a horrifying discovery.
Gojira's temperature was rising too quick. His temperature was exceeding even the hottest magma recorded on the planet. His temperature continued to rise as he fought Destoroyah and it had no intention of stopping. Shinzo came to the conclusion that it's possible that Gojira will have a meltdown, or will explode due to the heat he absorbed, but unlike a reactor meltdown, this meltdown would be far worse.
From what he could infer, it's possible that if the excess heat isn't expelled, the blast radius won't just destroy Tokyo, but the whole world with it as well. Which explains why Gojira tends to use his energy attacks in this form, he's trying to get rid of all the heat he's absorbed.
The Kaiju-Force, now known as the Kaiju-Alliance, quickly sent out the Gotengo warship to cool down Gojira's temperature. Miki Saegusa, with the help of the Shobijin Sisters, communicated with Gojira and told him that they were going to try to help him by lowering his temperature. They did this to ensure he wouldn't see the Gotengo as a threat.
While Gojira fought Destoroyah, he was joined by Super Mechagojira, who used his Plasma Grenade to blow out Destoroyah's chest. But Super Mechagojira kept his distance since Shinzo's daughter, Katsura, was piloting the mech, and he didn't want his daughter to get too close because Gojira was giving off a layer of heat strong enough to melt the buildings around him.
Gojira realized that fighting Destoroyah like this wasn't working. He just kept on using his separation tactic to get out of harm's way. So to get rid of him, he needed to get closer. He noticed earlier how Destoroyah's body reacted to being hit by Komodithrax's Frostbite Cannon, it actually affected him and made him move slower, so he concluded that extreme temperatures are Destoroyah's weakness. And with him essentially being a walking volcano, he knew exactly how to end this fight in a way that would annihilate Destoroyah.
He closed in on Destoroyah who tried in vain to suck out Gojira's oxygen with his Oxygen Destroyer beam, but Gojira ignored it and held Destoroyah close and tight. He grabbed him by the shoulders and bit his neck. He then charged up his atomic pulse as Destoroyah screamed in fear. At the same time, the Gotengo shot out it's Absolute Zero Blaster and aimed for Gojira's dorsal spikes.
The pulse engulfed a large percent of Tokyo, but the Gotengo and Super Mechagojira were far enough to where they wouldn't be hit. Once the smoke cleared, nothing.
No Destoroyah and no Gojira. Not even the sensors picked them up.
Minira cried out in horror. Gojira, for a while, was the only parent he had. He was the one Kaiju who took him in without question, he was the one who inspired Minira to fight back against his enemies. And now... he was gone?
There was no victory roar at the end of this fight. All of the Kaiju who joined the fight stayed silent in respect to their King. Miki started to tear up because for a while, Gojira was seen as nothing but a mindless monster who wanted to end the planet. But she saw something else that most people didn't. She was one of the first people to believe that Gojira was more than just a monster. That he had the potential to do good for the world.
And now, the Kaiju that the world feared and hated the most, died protecting his home and everyone who lived in it.
Or so they thought.
Just as Miki was crying, she felt a spark underneath the rubble as she used her powers in an attempt to find anything under the remains.
The ground shook and broke open as smoke poured out. Gojira, who was now back in his base form, lunged out of the ground, with the burnt remains of Destoroyah's head in his mouth which he proceeded to crush as it was reduced to ashes.
Luckily, the Gotengo was able to lower his temperature to the point where he was able to expell all of the excess heat left in his body. Minira happily greeted his father and Gojirin nuzzled her mate. Afterwards, Gojira and his family left. But as they were leaving, he could barely hear two voices in his head thanking him for what he had done.
Those were the spirits of Mosura and Radon who spoke to him through the energy Radon gave to Gojira before he died.
Ever since that fight, Gojira vowed to never activate that form again. It may have been very helpful, but it also hurt him in a way that most of his enemies didn't. And that was the last the world saw of Burning Gojira.
That is unless, Gojira absorbs a large amount of heat again. But only time will tell whether or not the King of Flames will return.
In the present day of 2034, Burning Gojira has now been studied extensively by Kaiju-Alliance scientists and they quickly concluded that the twins were right about this form, it was a freak accident.
After looking at ancient paintings depicting the form used by the Deusaurus of the past, they noted that they did not contain that burn patches seen on Burning Gojira. The only resemblance that ancient form had when compared to Burning Gojira were the flame shaped dorsal spikes, which led to these ancient forms being called "Pyro State" whereas the "Burning State" Gojira obtained was a far more lethal and evolved version of that form. It was also found out that in the ancient days, Deusaurus consumed volcanic rocks in order to activate the Pyro State which is why their forms are more stable because instead of simply consuming volcanic rocks, Burning Gojira was activated through extreme temperatures that far outclass any kind of volcanic rock which is why that form was extremely unstable.
In this state, Gojira is the most aggressive he has been in a while. He is very quick to act, not thinking of a strategy, with the only thing on his mind being his need to get rid of the heat he's absorbed. As mentioned before, he mainly uses energy attacks, but he does still keep his sanity at first, but when the form starts reaching critical mass, that's where Gojira becomes unhinged due to the pain he's experiencing.
Abilities:
Physical Strength:
He is very good at hand-to-hand combat and can lift Destoroyah who actually weighs more than he does.
Intelligence:
As a Deusaurus, he pretty much has human level intelligence and he used this to great effect in understanding Destoroyah's weakness and finding a way to kill him without the crustacean separating again.
Swimming:
Though it's not shown, he can swim in this form, but if he did, he would boil the water around him, killing anything unfortunate enough to be caught in the radius of his heat layer.
Speed:
Despite his weight, he's actually pretty fast compared to most Godzilla incarnations. Although, this is due in part due to the fact that he's burning of a lot of his muscle mass.
Durability:
He is so durable to the point that if someone were to make physical contact with him, they'd only hurt themselves.
Constant Heat Layer:
In his base form, Gojira has a heat layer that forms over him when he charges his Atomic Breath. In his Burning form, this heat layer becomes a permanent feature and it melts anything in it's path which is why nobody got close to him unless they were like Fire Radon who absorbs heat and turns it into fuel for his breath attack.
Absorption:
Normally, Gojira can only absorb heat and nuclear radiation, but in this form, he is able to absorb his enemy's energy attacks and use them to power his own energy attacks which is why he felt nothing when Destoroyah used his Oxygen Destroyer beam on him.
Molten Atomic Pulse:
Unlike his regular pulse attack which is a shockwave that pushes his enemies away and doubles as an EMP attack, this pulse attack melts anything it comes in contact with. And it also acts like acid where it strips it's target down to the bone like how it did when it was used on Emperor Ghidorah.
Infinite G-Spark Spiral Ray:
This version of Gojira's Atomic Breath is orange with red spirals. And it drills deep into it's opponents. Every time it's used, it gets even stronger, especially when Gojira reaches critical mass and is close to exploding. It also doesn't have a cool down like his standard Atomic Breath which is why it has infinite in its name. His spikes, veins, and burn patches turn red when it's charged. His spikes also burst into flames right before he shoots, and a spark occurs just as the beam is coming out of his mouth.
Regeneration:
Like his other abilities, this one is amplified in this form. But he only used it twice when Destoroyah used his Horn Katana on him.
Brainwave Sensing:
Like his base form, he can also locate other Kaiju using brainwaves.
Problems:
Constant Pain:
As mentioned, he is in constant pain during this form because of how much heat he's generating. It's tearing through his skin and though it empowers him, it doesn't do any favors when it comes to his physical health.
Thermonuclear Explosion:
If he doesn't expell all of the heat he's accumulated, he will explode, destroying the atmosphere and the Earth's core.
Trivia:
• He is both inspired by the 1995 Burning Godzilla and the 2019 Burning Godzilla, with this version also occuring during a fight with a Ghidorah.
• Originally, he was going to be completely orange with red veins and his back didn't have spikes because all that was left were flames on his back. I redesigned it in my head in June of this year and now he looks more like the original Burning Godzilla because personally, an all orange Burning Godzilla is kind of boring. At least with the burn patches, it actually looks like his body is tearing itself apart from the heat within it.
• The spikes bursting into flames was not just a reference to the cut concept of him not having spikes but flames on his back, but also a reference to that one scene in Terror of Mechagodzilla where Mechagodzilla II lights Godzilla's back on fire.
• This form is supposed to be made to look and feel as painful as possible. I want this form to feel like the original because Godzilla in Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah was in constant pain in this form and that's how I prefer Burning Godzilla to be portrayed whereas the Monsterverse version is just a power up that has no consequences.
• Originally, the back portion of his spikes, from the base of the tail to the tail tip were supposed to be white like the 1995 Burning Godzilla but I thought that wouldn't make sense. Personally, I always thought that didn't make any sense even in the original design so I changed it.
• Originally, he was supposed to be just a recolor of the Charged Gojira that me and my brother made where he's shooting his Atomic Breath, only with the veins and spikes being colored orange instead of blue. But we changed it and gave him new spikes and a different physique.
• His roars are modified versions of 1995 Burning Godzilla's roars mixed with Millennium Godzilla roars and 1954 Godzilla roars.
• Burning Gojira is the second most recurring form in Kingdom, only second to Fire Radon.
• Burning Gojira is the most unstable form in Kingdom, with it being the only form that harms it's user.
• This version of Burning Godzilla is also inspired by Super Saiyan Blue. I see the ancient form mentioned here as the "Super Saiyan God" of this universe. And you know how I mentioned that Burning is an evolved version of that ancient form from the past? It's like how Super Saiyan Blue is an evolved version of Super Saiyan God.
• The names "Pyro Gojira", "Thermo Gojira" and "Critical Gojira" were considered, but in the end, I chose to go with the original name because there's no point in changing it if it serves the same purpose of giving Godzilla a form that is related to heat. But I did use the "Pyro" name as the name of the ancient version of this form.
• There were many scrapped ideas on how he was going to get this form. The first one involved Mosura transferring her life force to Gojira which was changed to him falling into Mount Fuji because it was too similar to how KOTM handled Burning Godzilla. Then, another concept was him finding an old nuclear reactor during the Destoroyah fight. Then I thought, "Why the heck would the Japanese government just leave a nuclear reactor in the middle of Tokyo Bay?".
• The reason why I used Burning twice is because of Destoroyah. Originally, Base Gojira was supposed to kill Destoroyah, but I thought that would've eliminated the threat Destoroyah posed, so I added in the other Kaiju into the fight and Burning Gojira as well. Plus, in a story that features Destoroyah and Gojira's adopted son who Destoroyah wants to kill, why wouldn't I put a fight between Burning Godzilla and Destoroyah in there as a reference to my favorite Godzilla movie?
• There was a plan to activate Burning Gojira a third time in a later arc where he fights Orga, but it was replaced by Super Gojira's fight with Bagan.
• Being Burning Gojira is easily the most painful experience Gojira has had to deal with physically. Bagan blowing out his dorsal spikes with his Chaos Buster beam comes at a close second.
• He was supposed to be red, but I preferred the classic orange so I kept it that way.
• In earlier drafts, he actually would've melted down, and he would have taken Destoroyah with him. Leaving Minira as the new main Kaiju protagonist of the series. But in the final draft, I changed it to him using his pulse on Destoroyah while the Gotengo lowers his temperature.
• The pose of this drawing is supposed to portray the moment he goes critical and is close to exploding, which is why he looks so angry in this pose.
• Burning Gojira was supposed to be used more often after he first got it. Because in the original drafts, he would've used it like how Goku uses Super Saiyan, by activating it on command. Which would have meant that every fight would have no stakes because he can just transform into this form like how a person would flip a light switch. This idea of a Kaiju using a fire based form on command was changed to Radon having the ability to turn into Fire Radon on command instead.
What do you think?
Friend Ping:
Hey guys, since this month marks the Godzilla franchise’s 70 years of existence, I thought I just wanna share with you of this better version of my past remake of the teaser poster for TriStar Pictures' infamous 1998 film adaption.
Cool, huh?
From the volcano, a mighty dinosaur comes forth. One who's rage is unlimited and can only be clenched by burning everything around him.
After being tossed into Mount Fuji by Emperor Ghidorah, Gojira gained a temporary form called "Burning Gojira" after he absorbed the volcano's heat. He activated this form again when Fire Radon sacrificed himself and transferred his energy into Gojira so that the Kaiju King would be able to defeat the living oxygen destroyer, Destoroyah.
This design has no pupils and has multiple veins and burn patches on his skin and he also has smoke coming out of his mouth. Though this form grants him a significant power boost, it does have a major drawback.
If he uses it for too long, he will die, but not only will he die, he will explode and there is a possibility that if the explosion isn't contained or lessened somehow, he will take the planet with him. Which is why he mainly uses his energy attacks as Burning Gojira to expend the excess heat in his body until he powers down to his base form.
What do you think?

Posting art here once in a blue moon...
This was for someone, who has a sweet version of the big G! Hopefully this is still on topic...
I know that I don't have any audio or anything, but I just want to give you an idea on what Gojira: Kingdom might sound like if it becomes an animated series. This will feature most of the planned tracks for season 1 and their descriptions.
Track No. 1: Fifty Four
This is the opening theme of the first episode where it shows Daisuke Serizawa in 1954 recording a tape concerning Gojira. It is a slow buildup of dread and ends with loud drums as Gojira draws nearer
Track No. 2: Judgment Burn
This track plays when Gojira kills Serizawa. It is inspired by "Farewell" From Godzilla: The Planet Eater. A tragic track that perfectly captures what happens to the doctor.
Track No. 3: Over the Eras
This is a transition track which shows the rise in Kaiju attacks throughout the years. It features a chaotic sounding track that gets more intense the closer the montage gets to modern day.
Track No. 4: Shake The Earth
This is the theme song or anime opening of the series. I don't have lyrics planned yet but the song talks about Kaiju and how humans are forced to experience the world shaking from every step they take. The tone of the song is inspired by "Hellbound" from Devil May Cry V.
Track No. 5: Gifted or Cursed?
This is the theme of the main protagonist, Miki Saegusa. It starts off with a saddened beat which represents Miki's terrible childhood where she never had friends because they all feared her due to her psychic abilities. But it starts to sound more positive as she grows older because whilst she doesn't have friends, her family is more than open to accepting her powers.
Track No. 6: Open Your Eyes
This is a track that plays when Miki's mother, Megumi, is teaching her how to control her powers. It's more or less a more upbeat version of Miki's theme that sounds more like a pop song.
Track No. 7: Old Burn
This track plays when Miki asks her grandmother, Emiko Serizawa, about Gojira. It features a much more eerie and dreadful sounding version of the main Godzilla theme, also known as the Godzilla March.
Track No. 8: The Good Doctor
This is the theme of Shinzo Mafune who is Miki's mentor in the Kaiju-Force. The tone for the first two halves are laid back and upbeat, but the third half is slower sounding than the other two. Which represents Shinzo wanting to reconnect with his daughter but is too occupied with his work
Track No. 9: Get It Done
This is the theme of General Arisuke Tanaka of the Kaiju-Force. It is very militaristic and includes a lot of drums and trumpets. The Military March of the Godzilla franchise, also known as "Battle in Outer Space" is sneaked in as well.
Track No. 10: Expedition
This is the track that plays when Miki's group goes to an island known as Adonoa Island. It's meant to sound wondrous and sound whimsical. It's inspired by the main theme of Jurassic Park.
Track No 11: Bring It Up
This is the track which plays when the egg of Minira is found on Adonoa Island. I don't have much of a description apart from it sounding like a marching theme.
Track No. 12: Gojira Rising Part 1 [Fury]
This is the first among many of Gojira's themes in the series. It is a more modernized version of a track used in the original 1954 movie and Shin Godzilla called "Godzilla Comes Ashore". It plays when Gojira arises in modern day to track down the egg. This theme is called "Fury" to invoke Gojira's rising anger.
Track No. 13: King's Wrath
This plays when Gojira fights with a fleet of Kaiju-Force battleships. It's meant to sound dreading and vengeful as Gojira tears through the fleet.
Track No. 14: Resurgence
This track plays when Shinzo informs Arisuke about Gojira's return. It's a slow theme which has a stinger at the end when Gojira's theme sneaks in and becomes louder and louder as Shinzo reveals to Arisuke that it wasn't just any Kaiju who destroyed the fleet.
Track No. 15: The Innocent
This track plays when the egg breaks open and out comes a smaller member of Gojira's species named Minira. As the theme implies, it's meant to invoke a child's innocence. And it is Minira's main theme throughout the series.
Track No. 16: Here I Come
This track plays when Gojira is on his way to Japan. it features sirens that become more intense as he approaches Japan. It also features drums from time to time to emulate Gojira's stomps.
Track No. 17: Nowhere to Run
This track plays as the civilians of Japan are in a rush to evacuate the nearest city Gojira is approaching. It features violin screeching meant to emulate the screams of the people as Gojira gets closer.
Track No. 18: Forgive Us
This track is played as Gojira nears Osaka. It is meant to sound similar to Persecution of the Masses from Shin Godzilla. The scene it features in actually shows in great detail that Gojira actually does intentionally kill people and even shows him toppling a tall building after seeing a giant group of civilians. It's meant to sound hopeless and desperate as the crowd gets slaughtered. The title of the track is supposed to make it seem as though the citizens are trying beg Gojira for forgiveness because in this universe, he actually has a grudge against humanity.
Track No. 19: Mobilize and Execute!
This is the theme of the Kaiju-Force. It is made to sound like the Military March but is modernized and an electric guitar riff is added to make it sound more advanced since the Kaiju-Force has some very high tech weapons.
Track No. 20: Gemini Class
This track plays when the Garuda Warship attacks Gojira. It's meant to sound triumphant and determined and is inspired by a theme from Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah that plays whenever the Super X III is shown. The title is the name of the class of vehicle that the Garuda is categorized in. It's called the Gemini Class because all the ships in this class have two giant cannons.
Track No. 21: The Slap
This theme plays as the Gojira is getting the upper hand against the Garuda. It is a more chaotic version of Gemini Class and it also features a more intense version of Gojira Rising Part 1. The title refers to the tail slap Gojira gives to the Garuda, making the ship crash.
Track No. 22: Get Out
This theme plays when Miki's team and Minira are being evacuated by the Kaiju-Force. It has intensified violins and during the third half of the track, drums are heard as Gojira gets closer.
Track No. 23: Here I Am
This track plays when Gojira arrives at Osaka. It has loud drums and is inspired by Tom Holkenborg's Godzilla theme used in Godzilla Vs. Kong and Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.
Track No. 24: Horns, Spikes, Roll!
This theme is for Anguirus. It's very energetic and includes electric guitar riffs and intense drums to invoke Anguirus' fast and vicious fighting style.
Track No. 25: First Bite
This theme plays during the fight between Gojira and Anguirus. It features a combination of Gojira and Anguirus' themes. It has violins and drums from Gojira's theme, and guitar riffs from Anguirus' theme.
Track No. 26: Atomic Breath
This track played when Gojira gets the upper hand against Anguirus. It starts up quiet and as the theme keeps building and building, the violins become louder and it also features chanting. If you're wondering what the chanting sounds, imagine a bunch of people screaming. It's meant to invoke the charge up of Gojira's Atomic Breath.
Track No. 27: Warpath
This theme plays as Gojira travels around Japan trying to find Minira. It's meant to sound like a march and also features deep sounding trumpets as Gojira's anger intensifies further.
Track No. 28: Two Worlds
This is a bonding theme for Minira and Miki. It's meant to sound calm and relaxing and it mainly plays in scenes featuring the two.
Track No. 29: Escapee
This plays when Minira unexpectedly escapes from the Kaiju-Force. It's meant to reflect Miki in that scene because she is panicking and is worried for Minira. Which is why it sounds chaotic.
Track No. 30: Power Up
This plays when Miki finds Minira. It's a more heroic version of his usual theme. And the title refers to Minira getting a boost of power when he absorbs nuclear energy from a power plant and becomes bigger.
Track No. 31: The Solution
This plays when Arisuke Tanaka gets the idea to use an old weapon to counter Gojira. It's meant to sound grand as we are introduced to Mechagojira.
Track No. 32: Story of a Mech
This is played when Arisuke tells Miki and Shinzo about Mechagojira's past. It shows him when he was still at his prime, before he got retired in the 90s. I don't have an idea as to what it might sound like though.
Track No. 33: Stand by Me
This is the theme of Shinzo Mafune's daughter, Katsura. It's meant to sound sad and tired to reflect Katsura's personality and her relationship with her father because he's been so distant due to his work.
Track No. 34: Where Were You?
This plays when Katsura confronts her father and is a sadder version of Shinzo's theme. It also features a single violin heard throughout the track which is supposed to be a stand-in for Katsura's mother and Shinzo's wife, Tomoko Mafune.
Track No. 35: You Are My Target
This is Mechagojira's theme. It is meant to sound commanding and features metallic clanging in place of drums to emulate stomps. It also features triumphant trumpets during the start of the theme.
Track No. 36: Come At Me
This plays when Gojira rises out of Tokyo Bay. And it also features the violins and drums along with a reprise of Gojira Rising Part 1.
Track No. 37: Deployment
This plays when Mechagojira is deployed to attack Gojira. It's meant to sound a little like Kiryu's theme but less militaristic and more hopeful.
Track No 38: The Tale of Two Kings
This track plays when Gojira meets Mechagojira. It features an altered version of the Godzilla March which plays as Gojira tries to understand what Mechagojira is and the metallic clanging is also heard during this.
Track No. 39: The King and The Fraud
This plays during Gojira and Mechagojira's first fight in Tokyo Bay. The theme starts off with triumphant trumpets and violins as Mechagojira gets the upper hand against his biological counterpart. But the drums from Gojira's tracks are a constant and are heard throughout the theme, showing that he still has some control over the fight.
Track No. 40: Nothing Beats the Original
This plays during Mechagojira's defeat. The metallic clanging fades out as Gojira continues his march to find Minira.
Track No. 41: Fishing for Monsters
This plays when Arisuke plans to lure Gojira to Seattle into a kill zone by using recordings of Minira's roars. I don't have much of a description for how it sounds like though.
Track No. 42: Hit Me
Inspired by Young Joseph's theme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, this is Baragon's theme. Which features energetic techno music meant to invoke Baragon's overconfident and cocky attitude.
Track No. 43: Here's The Kicker!
This theme is supposed to have an ancient jungle like feel and is the theme for Gorosaurus. The theme represents Goro's quick and precise style of fighting. And it mainly features bongos.
Track No. 44: The Unbelievable
This is Varan's theme and it's supposed to sound regal as Varan is the one who leads Baragon and Gorosaurus.
Track No. 45: Disaster, Disaster Everywhere!
This is the theme of the Disaster Monsters which is Varan's team. It combines Baragon's techno music, Gorosaurus' bongos, and Varan's regal trumpets.
Track No. 46: And Then There Were Four
This plays when Gojira arrives at Seattle. It features both Gojira's drums and Varan's trumpets. And there's also a flute played in between right before the Disaster Monsters fight Gojira. Meant to emulate a cowboy standoff.
Track No. 47: Playground
This plays during Gojira's Battle with the Disaster Monsters. It features intense trumpets and electric guitar riffs. It also features screeching violins whenever a Kaiju hits a building. The title is supposed to show how our modern cities are little more than playgrounds for these titanic animals.
Track No 48: Gojira Rising Part 2 [Brawl]
This is a modernized version of the King Kong Vs. Godzilla theme mixed in with a more intense version of the Godzilla March. And it features chanting from the Odo Islanders who used to worship Gojira. I don't have all the lyrics planned, but it's basically about the Islanders praising Gojira. The theme is called "Brawl" because this theme primarily plays during fight scenes.
Track No. 49: Minus One
This plays during Varan's death where he gets brutalized by Gojira. This theme still features Varan's trumpets but they sound more fearful rather than regal. And it also features deeper sounding trumpets meant to represent Gojira. The title refers to Gojira subtracting a member from the Disaster Monsters.
Track No. 50: A Few Adjustments
This plays during a scene in New York where Mechagojira is being modified. And it features techno music and the faint sound of the metallic clanging returning as Mechagojira is being repaired.
Track No. 51: In Her Head
This plays when Miki uses her psychic powers to look into Katsura's mind to better understand her relationship with Shinzo. It has a mystical and angelic vibe to it.
Track No. 52: Collision Course
This plays when Gojira is approaching New York. It features deep sounding trumpets and a guitar riff in the background symbolizing Gojira getting tired and angrier.
Track No. 53: Come Home
This plays right before Katsura goes off to pilot Mechagojira. It's a somber sounding theme with a single violin featured primarily throughout the track as Katsura promises to her father that they will go home after this to mend their bond.
Track No. 54: Blue, Red, And Roar!
This track plays when Gojira arrives at New York. It still features the trumpets but not the drums since the city is completely barren after everyone was evacuated. The title refers to the color of Gojira's Atomic Breath which is blue, and the color of Mechagojira's Proton Scream which is red.
Track No. 55: Dueling Flames
This is the track the plays during Gojira and Mechagojira's second fight. It features heavy drums, guitar riffs, and intense violins to amp up the fight.
Track No. 56: Hit-and-fly
This track plays when Mechagojira gets the upper hand during this battle. There are parts in the track where Gojira's theme intensifies, but it cuts out and gradually gets quieter. This happens whenever he tries to attack Mechagojira but the mech pulls back which is the meaning of the title as Mechagojira's strategy is to distance himself from Gojira.
Track No. 57: Bring It Down
This track plays after Gojira messes with Mechagojira's electronics using his Atomic Pulse. The theme mainly features the drums from earlier tracks while a single deep sounding trumpet is heard in the background and gets louder the more Gojira damages Mechagojira.
Track No. 58: Berserker
This plays during the scene where Mechagojira activates his Berserk Mode for the first time. And it features the metallic clanging but more intensified, it also features unhinged sounding techno music.
Track No. 59: Fiery Desperation
This is played during the scene where Gojira tears Mechagojira apart. And as the title implies, it's meant to sound desperate and angry as the theme gets increasingly more intense as Gojira is extremely desperate to win his fight with Mechagojira. It also features voices chanting Gojira's name.
Track No. 60: Waving The Flag
This plays after Mechagojira's defeat. The title refers to Arisuke giving up on the operation even though most of it was his idea. It features a very calming but slightly dreadful theme as Arisuke tries to calm himself as Gojira approaches the New York Kaiju-Force base. And it also features a reprise of "Forgive Us" as Gojira closes in.
Track No. 61: Inside A Monster's Eyes
This track plays when Miki uses her powers and goes inside of Gojira's mind. It is meant to sound ethereal but the moment Miki accuses Gojira of trying to kill Minira, the trumpets, violins, and drums make a return once he's angered.
Track No. 62: Heir to the Throne
This plays when Gojira adopts Minira. It's a very somber track as Miki has to let go of Minira or else Gojira will not stop hunting her group down. And it features a subtle but noticeable tune taken from Godzilla Junior's theme from Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah.
Track No. 63: Sun on the Horizon
This is the song that features during the ending as Gojira takes Minira to Sollgel Island. It's a very hopeful sounding theme as Miki believes that Gojira will raise Minira with care and love just like she did. And it also features the Godzilla March but it's a much more calming version of it, teasing a shift in Gojira's personality.
Track No. 64: I'll Carry You
Like any anime, it has to have an outro song that plays at the end of each episode. This song is sung from Gojira's point of view. Basically what it comes down to is Gojira promising to give Minira a better childhood than his own. And the tone of the song is inspired by "Nobody" the outro of Kaiju No. 8.
Track No. 65: Second Try
This plays during the post credit scene of the final episode where Shinzo goes back to his home. It starts off with a softer version of his theme as he promises his deceased wife that he'll spend more time with his daughter. But the metallic clanging comes back one last time as he pulls out the blueprints for Mechagojira Type-2.
I know, it's crazy that I'm already thinking about a soundtrack even though I don't have the resources to make one, but I just want to give y'all an idea on what Gojira: Kingdom will be like in terms of music.
So, what do you think, mateys?

Meanwhile in the palace, Miki ran through the halls. She needed to get to Princess Yuna before she evacuated because she may hold the only solution to this problem.
While running, her boyfriend Kensuke almost bumped into her. They need to get out of here. Even though Bagan was the last Kaiju they needed to get rid of, he's also the strongest of the Chaos Monsters. There's a reason why he's their leader.
"I don't know how far the next transport is. But we need to book it." Kensuke suggested.
"We can't, Ken. Running away is not an option right now." Miki replied.
"Aren't we running right now?" Kensuke asked.
"That's not the point! Listen, we need Yuna to transfer the city's energy to help Gojira. It's the only way he's going to win this fight." Miki responded.
"But how? All she seems to want to do with that energy is strengthen Dagahra and keep the city's power supply intact." Kensuke said.
"What choice do we have? Even if she does power Dagahra, he won't be enough. You yourself said that if Gojira gets powered by Nilai-Kanai's magic he'll ascend to a higher power than he is right now." Miki explained.
"Miki, that was just a theory. We don't even know if it'll work." Kensuke argued.
"It's the end of the world, Ken. Wouldn't hurt to try, right?" Miki said as they kept running.
Kensuke smirked. He always liked Miki's enthusiasm. Even though it seems that Bagan's plan of enslaving the earth might be close to becoming reality, she still believes there's a way to counter him.
"I freaking love you." Kensuke chuckled.
"Right back at you. And hey, if we survive I'll make sure we get married." Miki smiled.
"I haven't even proposed yet..." Kensuke trailed off.
"You'll have plenty of time to do that if we get out of this alive." Miki replied.
"That's a real big IF." Kensuke stated.
The two then stumble upon a launching pad. And on it, was one of the Atragon Class Battleships used by the Kaiju-Alliance. This specific one was named The Goten. The military forces were instructing the people of Nilai-Kanai out of the palace and into the ship so they can escape. And Miki happened to spot a familiar purple haired woman who was about to board the ship.
Miki and Kensuke rushed towards the ship. As they did so, Miki could hear Minira roaring in anger as he was challenging Bagan. It's hard to believe this was the same innocent juvenile she took care of years ago but she was proud of him. Though she was still scared for his life since if his father can't beat Bagan, what chance does he have?
"Princess! I believe Miki has something to discuss with you." Kensuke called out.
Yuna turned around to look at the two researchers. What on earth do they want now? Her home's about to be destroyed and they still want to ask questions.
"There's nothing else to discuss, Mr. Maki. You humans have brought doom upon us all." Yuna hissed.
"W-what? We didn't want any of this." Miki asserted.
"Is that so? Then why did you bring Gojira here? His stench attracted Bagan and his followers. I wouldn't be surprised if you had this planned out from the start." Yuna glared.
"There's no time for this! Just give Gojira your city's energy. It's the only way to-" Kensuke was cut off.
"You think I'm going to lend that lizard a hand? He's the reason that demon is destroying my home! If you hadn't brought him here then none of this would've happened!" Yuna yelled.
Miki wanted to speak up again. But she saw Yuna's guards with their magic infused tridents. If she must speak, she needs to choose her words wisely.
But thankfully, Miki won't have to say anything.
Behind Yuna, she heard somebody clear their throat.
"Your majesty. I hated that lizard with every fiber of my being once before. But I'd be lying if he isn't our best hope at beating the crap out of Bagan." General Arisuki spoke up.
"Your mistake was not holding onto that hate. From what I have gathered, all he seems to do is cause ruin and decay wherever he goes. So why should I trust you?" Yuna narrowed her eyes.
Arisuki sighed.
"I'm gonna be damned because of this aren't I? Oh, well." Arisuki thought.
Admittedly, Arisuki used to be the one who hated Gojira the most. He was a military general after all. And getting rid of Gojira was his top priority. But now that he has mellowed out and has become an ally, there's no reason not to help him.
"Princess, please tell me you haven't been living under a rock this whole time." Arisuki started.
"What are you implying, general?" Yuna growled.
"If you're aware of how much Gojira has destroyed. You must know how much he's helped the earth after allying himself with us. He's faced Kaiju that not only have threatened his life, but the life of humanity as well. The only reason he attacked us was because we attacked him first. Once we found out all he wanted was to be seen as more than just a monster, we stopped attacking him. And ever since then he's started to understand that we want to help him too. I hope you understand that this 'Dinosaur' is our last hope. And don't say that Dagahra is, I hate to be honest but Gojira is a better bet than that sea dragon. You better make your move now before we're all toast because as far as I know, if you give him this city's power, he will fight for us." Arisuki answered.
"And what if he doesn't?" Yuna questioned.
"He will. Bagan took his parents and now he wants to take his new family and wipe his species off the face of the earth. What reason would Gojira have to not fight for us when all we've been doing is fight Bagan? I don't want to offend you, but if you keep being stubborn about this kind of thing then we're as good as dead. What do want, princess? Live a longer life, free to make your own decisions. Or lick the foot of Bagan? Well? Better make your choice quick because doomsday clock is clicking and it has no intention of stopping unless we stop it." Kensuke hasn't said anything like that to anyone of a high authority before. He was so nervous he thought he was going to pass out.
But like Miki said. There's no harm in trying.
"You dare speak against our princess you wretched land dweller?!" One of the guards growled.
Yuna then held a hand up as a gesture for her guards to stand down. They were baffled. No human has ever spoken to her like this yet she's allowing it?
"Stand down Vero. Now, if we do follow your plan, how can you be certain that Gojira will be enough to kill Bagan?" Yuna calmed down.
"Because we've seen it happen before. If Gojira absorbs a massive amount of energy he'll gain a temporary form of sorts. It happened twice before when he absorbed a large amount of heat and became Burning Gojira." Miki clarified.
Yuna thought long and hard about this. If she transfers their Zen Energy to Gojira then that'll shut down their whole city. This magic is the only thing that's been keeping their city alive for centuries. If she does this, Nilai-Kanai will be even more forgotten than it already is.
"You don't seriously believe that this preposterous idea could would, can you?" Vero asked.
"... Activate the towers." Yuna ordered.
"P-princess, Nilai-Kanai will decay if we don't-" Vero was cut off.
"Our home has been decaying for years. Me and my family have just been trying to keep it together as desperately as we possibly could. Ever since the Barem attacked, this place has been on a downward spiral. And if we let Bagan live he'll destroy it
anyways. I gave you an order. I expect you to follow it." Yuna requested.
"Yes, your highness." Vero said as he led the remaining guards to the towers on top of the palace.
"I must say Ms. Saegusa. You have a lot of courage for someone who doubts herself because of her powers." Yuna remarked.
"I get it from my dad, mostly." Miki smiled.
"Pray that this'll work." Yuna replied.
"It will." Miki assured the monarch.
The four Zenith Towers on the palace were activated. And they started to drain all the Zen Energy from the city. As they did, sparks within the structures and homes of the citizens were disappearing. Blue specks were being drawn to the towers as Bagan continued to focus on the battle at hand.
Gojira could only watch as Bagan used his Storm Punch on Gojirin. But his mate was just as resilient as he was. She unleashed an Atomic Pulse on him and he was disoriented for a few seconds. But a few seconds is all she needed for her and Minira to ram him.
Bagan rained another Diamond Storm on the two. This time it actually hit it's intended target. Minira was screaming now, not because of the pain, but he was roaring for his father to get up.
As Gojira watched his son screech in pain. His mind immediately flashed back to when he first met Minira. He was so small, innocent, and full of life. He can't just let that life be taken away.
The tops of the towers then pointed down towards Gojira. A whirring sound could be heard as the towers were finally charged with the entirety of Nilai-Kanai's magic.
"I can't believe I'm saying this... Save us you damned reptile." Vero said as he looked at the other guards and nodded.
They then pushed the controls to the towers. Just then, a heavenly white beam rushed out of the towers and onto Gojira. As the beam hit, the King started to twitch. It felt like he was now a completely different Kaiju. He didn't feel any of his injuries anymore and he felt as fine as he did before Bagan tracked him down.
An even bigger light erupted from Gojira. It was colored green and it shot into the sky. Once the light was gone, the sky which was once blood red was now the same color as the ocean itself. A rich but dark bluish color.
Bagan didn't understand what was going on and was naturally curious. He turned to look at where the light came from but all he saw was giant yellow silhouette that vaguely looked like a Kaiju.
The silhouette then opened it's crimson red eyes. The eyes burned as if they were made of fire and the beast soon revealed it's true appearance.
Flakes were coming off of the giant as Bagan was dumbfounded at what he was looking at. It was... Gojira? No, it can't be him. He already gave him the biggest beat down in modern Kaiju history, there's no way he could've gotten up from that.
Gojira now looked different. His main color was now a dark purple, his underbelly was now a vibrant green, and his eyes were red. But those weren't the only changes. His dorsal spikes were healed and they were much larger, appearing like crystalized versions of his original spikes. He also had a tail club of some sorts on his tail with spiky, crystal-like protrusions coming out of it. His shoulders had two purple shoulder spikes, the hole that Bagan caused earlier was turned into some kind of gem sitting in the middle of Gojira's chest. And his head was adorned with a crest that looked like a crown, fitting for a king.
Yuna's jaw dropped. They weren't lying when they said that Gojira would gain a new form out of this. But she wasn't expecting that.
"Bagan's in for it now." Kensuke smirked.
"This is... I don't even have words for it. I just know that Yoshido is gonna think of a catchy name for it later." Miki was bewildered. She can only wonder what power he possesses now.
"No need for that. I already thought of a name just in case if he were to get any new form that comes out of the woodwork." Arisuki interjected.
"What do you have in mind, then?" Kensuke was curious.
"I'll try to keep it simple since I didn't want to make it sound complicated. I'm calling this... Super Gojira." Arisuki said in a dramatic tone.
"Sounds like it came straight out of a video game. It fits, actually." Kensuke replied.
Bagan ignored Minira and Gojirin who were now on the ground. He just stared at this new opponent. If this really is Gojira then how did he attain this form? Does he have new abilities?
What does it matter? A lizard is still a lizard. He's killed Deusaurus for years, what difference does it make if one of them gains a slightly stronger form?
Bagan roared at Super Gojira. And he charged his wings. He jumped into the sky as beams of energy came out of the wings to boost him into the sky. Super Gojira wasn't like Burning Gojira. He wasn't roaring for no reason this time around, it was like he knew he was in control of the situation.
The Demon Beast rushed to his rival. Activating his Storm Punch midair. One last punch and he should be done, after all he's flying at a high speed. There's no way he won't pierce through Gojira's chest this time.
Super Gojira placed his right foot back and clenched his right fist. He narrowed his gaze as Bagan was closing in. Now this beast will finally learn what it feels like to feel fear for the first time.
Bagan goes for a punch, but is stopped right as he thrusted his hand forward. Gojira's fist connected with Bagan's chest, he's never seen a Deusaurus who punched their opponent. Normally they just clawed them.
A huge wave of yellow energy blew Bagan backwards. A loud crash was heard as he fell onto a ruined building. He turned back to see that Gojira's fist was glowing yellow. This new attack was called his Megaton Punch.
"Hot damn. That's new." Arisuki observed.
"Indeed, maybe this new form isn't like Burning Gojira. Instead of enhancing his previous abilities, it's given him new ones. And I think he's actually trying to copy Bagan's moves." Miki theorized.
"Well, if you can't beat them just use their tricks. Genius." Arisuki chuckled.
Bagan has never been hit like that. Never. In the five hundred plus years he's lived, no Kaiju has ever come close to sending him flying like that. This was different.
So what does he care for it? One slip up isn't going to stop him from achieving his goal. Gojira may have just gotten a lucky shot but it won't happen again.
Bagan ran towards Gojira with the rage that would make even a Ghidorah tremble in fear. Super Gojira wasn't even running. He just walked slowly over to Bagan without a hint of emotion on his face.
A second Storm Punch was ignited. He aimed for Gojira's chest, that seemed to be the best way to use this move on Deusaurus. But once Bagan's fist connected, nothing happened.
Gojira didn't move at all. It was like if the world's best body builder were to punch a mountain. They're at their physically peak yes, but a mountain is still a mountain and a fist can't move it.
Bagan had no idea what was going on. Every other time he's struck Gojira with this move it staggered him. He tried again with another Storm Punch, and another, and another, and another. And yet, the King stood tall and gave Bagan a glare of death.
Gojira then moved his left shoulder and slammed the spike into Bagan's right arm. The spike was burning straight through Bagan's armor plating. This move was called Heatwave Piercing and Bagan groaned as the spike was being driven further into his arm. He pulled out quickly as to not let the effects worsen.
Bagan was getting angrier by the second. A lizard was superior in strength compare to him? No! that can't be right! He is the ultimate being! He is the super predator that deserves to rule over this wretched plane-
Another Megaton Punch was sent to Bagan's head. Then he was punched on the left side of his face. If he wasn't still conscious he would've assumed that his head caved in. What the hell was that power?! He shouldn't be this strong considering how he was about to die earlier.
Bagan was not about to be suppressed by an animal who's species was about to be extinguished. His wings started to glow as he looked up and formed his Diamond Storm.
But Gojira, being the quick thinker he was already had a counter measure in place. He positioned his tail like how Mechagojira would position it's tail in order to drill into someone. The tail club started glowing yellow and it shot out three spheres that collided with the Diamond Storm. This move was called Star Bullet.
Bagan was getting even more irritated. Why can't this lizard just go limp already? He's already put him through the ringer twice now. When will this end?! Can't he just conquer what is rightfully his without getting interrupted once?!
In a fit of rage. Bagan's horns were surging with electricity. He knows that one shot of his Chaos Buster is enough to mortally wound this reptile. If he shoots him with this it'll definitely do something.
He then plunged the beam straight at Super Gojira's face. He was so desperate to come out on top he was putting the fullest extent of his power into this one beam. Gojira was actually being pushed a few feet back and this caused Bagan to regain some of his confidence.
But it wouldnt last.
A golden spark started from Gojira's tail. It went up to his dorsals and onto his head where his eyes turned orange. He then looked up at the sky as he opened his mouth. The ocean blue sky started to change color to yellow as the cloud began to swirl.
As Gojira took a breath, the clouds lowered themselves down onto the Super Kaiju and he was inhaling them like how he inhales his heat before shooting his Atomic Breath. Then he looked at Bagan with the same blank expression he's had for the whole duration of this confrontation.
He opened his mouth wide, and a golden beam with green spirals came rushing through. It tore through Bagan's Chaos Buster like a knife going through butter. The Demon Beast was pushed back again and this time he was pushed to nearly the edge of what remained of the destroyed city. This move was called Supernova Spiral Ray.
When the ray stopped, Bagan could barely stand. He was lucky he could even move at that point. While taking a look at Gojira, he started to feel something he has felt in centuries.
Jealously.
Why did that power have to be given to that lizard? It should've been him! He's the strongest out of all the Kaiju. Only he deserves to wield such power, not this lowlife try hard who wants to avenge his parents so badly he's willing to defy death itself to see it happen.
Super Gojira reeled back and released a roar filled with hate and fury. When he roared, Bagan didn't see Gojira roaring at him, he saw Dagon and Bijirin doing it. It was like they were mocking him from the grave.
He was almost in the exact same place Gojira was earlier. Out for power and couldn't move his body, let alone roar because his jaw was becoming further dislocated after that last punch. But no, he won't let this lizard win. Not now when he's so close to wiping out his race.
Bagan's bones were hanging on by a thread by this point but he still got up even though his body was becoming more unstable the more he moved. If he was to defeat this new Gojira then he'll need to develop a strategy. So as much as he hated to do it, he activated his wings and with his remaining energy, flew into the sky.
Katsura, who was watching from a far was amused that Bagan was running this time and not Gojira. But he can't get away, if he does then he'll heal. Who knows how long Super Gojira lasts before he powers down again.
"No you don't, Bakan." Katsura growled. Replacing the first four letters of Bagan's name with the Japanese word for idiot.
Super Mechagojira was starting to recover. Katsura was about to activate the jet boosters in order to get to Bagan. If they can finish this now then good. They won't have to deal with much for a while.
But then, as Katsura was about to direct Mechagojira towards Bagan, everything shut down and a red screen was shown in front of her. She knew exactly what this meant.
"You're going berserk? Why?" Katsura asked.
"At the state I'm in, I can no longer fight but what I can do is hold that beast down for Gojira to get a good shot in." Mecha G answered.
He can't do that. If he does and if it goes wrong, that kind of force could- no, she's already lost enough. He may be an A.I but he's still her friend.
"You're not saying what I think you're saying, right?" Katsura wanted to make sure.
"I know what I said, Katsura. Listen, if Bagan is allowed to live after this then it's obvious he'll come back even stronger." Mecha G responded.
"Then we'll just fight him again. He'll be alone by that point." Katsura argued.
"Katsura... I know Gojira has just gained a new form. but I also know that it may not last for much longer. Burning Gojira was temporary, why would this new form be any different?" Mecha G questioned.
Katsura was gritting her teeth. He can't just leave. He's one of the reasons she was able to open up to her father. The reason why they began to bond again. After all they've been through he's just going to blow himself up?
"N-no! I lost my mother. I am not losing you too! I know you're just an A.I but... You're family. I don't even know if that makes any sense but it's how I feel about you." Katsura sobbed.
"I am very aware. But I have to do this on my own. There are some things that you can't do that I can. Sacrificing yourself is one of them because you still have so much to live for." Mecha G explained.
"And you are one of the things I live for! So why?! Why are you trying to get rid of yourself?!" Katsura shouted.
"To keep my pilot safe." Mecha G said as he activated the escape pod.
Katsura tried to get out of the pod but it was seeling itself shut. She can't let this happen again. She banged on the hatch but it didn't budge. She screamed as loud as she could but nothing was working.
Mecha G on the other hand, couldn't have been more happy. At least he can go out knowing his pilot will live in peace with the people she loves the most. And with her finally getting what she wished for, being with her father. He has no doubt She'll be happy even without him.
"Thank you Katsura Mafune. For giving me a true reason to function." Mechagojira Finished.
With tears in her eyes and the most amount of turmoil she's felt in years, Katsura could only utter one word.
"Sayonara..." And with that, the pod was launched into the far side of the city where Katsura would be out of range from what was about to happen.
Mechagojira rocketed out to Bagan. The beast was just a few meters away from reaching the clouds but he will not be able to fly away this time.
The mech opened his metal jaws and clamped down onto Bagan's right wing and choked him with it's remaining right arm. It and Bagan plummeted to where Gojira was standing. Mechagojira got up immediately using it's jets and it held up Bagan. It had it's arm on Bagan's waist and it wrapped it's tail around Bagan's neck.
"Take the shot, your majesty." Mechagojira said to it's biological counterpart.
Gojira then spread his arms out and closed his eyes. The waves around the ocean were beginning to shake as Gojira started to charge up something that wasn't his Atomic Breath.
Bolts of lightning rained down upon the Kaiju King. Every bolt was empowering him with an astronomical amount for energy as his spikes were sparking with electricity.
"He's about to use his pulse. Wonder what it'll look like in this form." Kensuke wondered.
Super Gojira's body started to glow in it's original blue color. Like how it usually does when Gojira starts charging. Bagan opened his eyes, and tried to get out of the robot's grasp but Mechagojira's grip was too strong and Bagan was far too tired to wriggle himself free.
The amount of energy coming off of Gojira made Bagan shudder. Wait, Bagan The Chaos Bringer... felt fear? Impossible! He is the bringer of all things that are destructive. He shouldn't even be able to feel fear! And yet, here he was. Scared, for the first time in his life no less.
Gojira stared at him again. And this time he could feel his parents watching over him. No longer did he think they'd be disappointed. If they were here, they'd be the proudest of all the Deusaurus.
The gem in Gojira's chest then sent out a huge wave of atomic energy as Gojira's whole body became a conductor for it. He wasn't using his pulse after all.
Bagan started screaming. Begging, he did want it to end like this. He always envisioned that he'd be standing across a mountain of dead Deusaurus. This must be a mistake, a miscalculation, or- Or his pride not letting him accept his demise.
At the tip of the beam, for some reason he could see Gojira's head. He wasn't sure if it was him hallucinating or not. But it didn't matter, the moment he saw Gojira's head being projected into the beam, it was over. This move was called Atomic Annihilator.
Bagan was reduced to nothing more than just a memory. not even a trace of his cells were left. Mechagojira's eyes shut down when the beam hit. He'd rather have himself be destroyed rather than let Shinzo fall to his grief by losing Katsura.
An explosion that rocked the city occured. The light was so blinding that if you were to look at it you'd pass out immediately. Once all of it was cleared though, Everything was silent.
For the first time in a long time, everything in the area was devoid of sound. Until the sound of breathing was heard. Gojira emerged from the smoke. He was no longer in his super form and went back to his standard look. His spikes were healed and the scar that the Pterosaur Kaiju from 1954 inflicted onto him was finally gone.
He took a breath to process what had just happened. Then he felt rumbling. He saw all his allies coming towards him. Shodai, Gyaku, Musuko, Daisenso, Soshingeki, Doranebulas, Guardian Ghidorah, Rushi, Ebirah, Manda, Titanosaurus, Anguirus, Jira, Leo, Gigan, Dagahra, Gojirin, and Minira all went to check on him.
Guardian Ghidorah's center head, Ichi. Lowered himself to face Gojira. The King was wondering whether or not the space dragon intended to attack. Ichi then looked at his brothers, Ni and San. They all nodded in agreement before bowing to Gojira.
Gojira titled his head up and down as a show of respect. All the other Kaiju bowed before their king. He may have started off as a juvenile who was all alone in the world. But now his parents can finally rest knowing that nobody can threatened him.
He looked up to the sky and could see that his parents were smiling. Granted, he couldn't see them exactly but he could feel them. If anybody wants to challenge him, they'll be burned in a blue inferno. If anyone hurts what he loves they'll get torn apart. If anything threatens his home he'll damn them to the fullest extent.
Because nothing will make him kneel. His is of course, the King of the Kaiju.
SKREEEEOONNKKKKKK!
THE END
What do you think?
(post credit: Kaiju Kombat)
Doesn’t the unused (for obvious reasons) concept of Anxiety look familiar to you?
Also wow, close to having Godzilla x Inside Out Crossover!🦖😊
The ancient forgotten city of Nilai-Kanai finally arose from the ocean's depths. The night sky was turned to red after Obsidius used a massive attack that was supposed to kill off the last of the Deusaurus Clan. But it didn't end up working as planned.
Amongst the rubble, something stood up in defiance. Gojira bursted out and was breathing heavily. After the last attack that was dealt to him, he's not sure how long he can keep this up.
He looked around. Many of the Deusaurus that helped him during the fight like Shodai, Gyaku, Musuko, Daisenso, and Soshingeki were on the ground. They were beaten near to death. Gojira isn't sure where his mate and son were but he's not about to let that demon lay a claw on them.
He assessed the situation carefully. Building his strength back up, or what is left of it. The king may be exhausted but as long as he still has the will to carry on, he will not stop. Nothing's been able to make him kneel before, it'd be damn near impossible to do that now.
In the smoke and ash, he could see what looked like a sinister blue grin. Gojira slammed his tail onto he ground and prepared to fight. If he's going to die then he might as well take this demonic beast down to hell with him.
Blood was pouring out of Gojira's legs, it felt like his body was about to give way at any second. But he didn't care about his injuries. As long as he breathes, he will not fall. A king never falls.
For if he does, he will never find peace until his work is done. And he'll condemn anyone who gets in his way if he has to.
Through the smoke, a horn tore through. Gojira's expression sharpened and he was readying to shoot his Atomic Breath even though he knows it won't do much. But if he doesn't at least try then Minira and Gojirin will be taken just like his parents.
Bagan emerged out of the smoke, he was damaged due to being attacked by Gojira and his remaining kin. He had to admit, this Deusaurus had quite the gull to keep going when his body just wants to give up. But that won't matter once he's done with him.
The king wasn't deterred. He had his hands to the side and thrusted his head forward to roar at this menace.
SKREEEEOOOONNNK-
Blood. Even a king like him bleeds. Just roaring makes him cough up blood. Nobody has ever given him a beat down this bad. Not even Destoroyah, Emperor Ghidorah, or Hedorah had ever beat him to he point where roaring would make him bleed.
But even with his mouth bleeding, Gojira didn't care. He's ignored pain in the past, what's stopping him from doing that again?
Miki watched from the top of the Nilai-Kanai palace. Bagan and Gojira were near the palace and she couldn't do anything but watch. She wished she could help the Kaiju King. Maybe she could use her powers to influence Bagan somehow. But she can't even guarantee that.
Maybe Princess Yuna was right. Bagan is the inevitable. He cannot be defeated. Not even by someone like Gojira.
If Bagan was a merciful Kaiju, he probably would've let Gojira go by now. But only so he can fight the King later when he's at his full potential.
Bagan however, has never felt sympathy for anyone.
The monster started to cackle. It was odd seeing an animal like him laugh but it was even more irritating to Miki that nothing was working against him. Not even Destoroyah was this resilient.
Bagan simply walked towards Gojira with his right fist powering up as he did. Does it matter if he's bleeding? No. Gojira won't go down, not today when he can finally put an end to Bagan's wrath. If he doesn't then what point was there to him being born if he can't avenge his parents?
Gojira tried to slash Bagan with his left hand. But he could barely even raise it. Not now, his body can't give up at the worst time possible. He's not about to let this bastard get away with this. If he has to break his bones then fine, at least he'll get rid of this monstrosity.
Before Gojira could strike, Bagan nailed him with a Storm Punch to the chest. Even more blood was pouring out of his mouth now. Gojira forced his body to stay up, just to stare Bagan's glowing blue eyes.
Gojira couldn't talk but his eyes read "This isn't over. Not until you're dust."
To Bagan, if anything, Gojira was commendable for his determination. But other than that he's foolish.
So foolish that he actually thought he stood a chance against him after their first encounter in the Philippines. He already made it clear that he is far superior so what's the point in trying to prevent anything else from happening? At this point he might as well have a foot in the grave already.
He gripped onto the hand Bagan used to punch him and he was slowly clawing at it. Bagan couldn't understand what was driving this moron. Did he want to get revenge that badly? Is he this desperate? So much for the King of the Monsters.
Bagan pushed him back. Gojira almost toppled over but he had his tail to balance him. Even in this weakened state, the weakest he's ever been. He still won't shut his eyes and die.
The Demon Beast was baffled by how much Gojira wanted to kill him. Normally when he fights a Deusaurus, when they're at their worst they just give up and fall to the floor awaiting death. But how come this one keeps standing?
It's simple, a king doesn't fall to someone like Bagan. Gojira may have ran before but it was only because he underestimated Bagan. Though even now when he knows how strong Bagan really is, he still won't turn tail to save himself.
Gojira then felt a presence. He turned to look at what it was, and it was Miki. She was trying to communicate with him using her powers.
"Just stay down. You won't beat him like this!" Miki shouted.
He took one look at Miki and shattered the connection she had with his mind. So what if his body wants to surrender? It only will if he decides that.
Gojira stood to his full height again. He could feel his muscles aching as he did. As he looked up, he saw that Bagan had formed three projectiles from his wings.
He's unleashing his Diamond Storm.
The projectiles rained down on the Kaiju King. Their blue glow contrasted with the blood red battlefield. Shodai, who was down for most of the fight was starting to regain consciousness. Only to see that Gojira was failing to get the job done.
There was a bit of anger within Shodai. Gojira is Dagon's son isn't he? He shouldn't have let himself get weakened like this. If he only played his cards right then maybe he wouldn't be in so much pain right now. Shodai could only hope that if he and his race were about to die, then let it be quick so they won't have to suffer for too long.
A massive explosion engulfed Gojira. But there was no cry of pain that came from him. Bagan waited for something to happen after the smoke clears. Maybe this time that lizard will finally understand that he stands no chance against-
"Halt, Bagan!" Super Mechagojira roared as it shot it's Kaleido Scream. Because the Garuda warship combined with Mechagojira, it allowed the mech to unlock new abilities thanks to the Garuda sharing some of it's weapons with the Mecha. One of them happens to be a rainbow colored breath weapon that was far stronger than it's previous crimson colored Proton Scream.
The beam slammed into Bagan's head. Mechagojira was aiming for his eyes but Bagan blocked it with his horn.
"What the hell does it take to put a dent in you?!" Katsura growled.
"Maximizing beam strength at 70 percent." The A.I of Mechagojira announced.
"Then push it to a hundred or whatever. This thing's going down. Not tomorrow, not in another lifetime. He goes down today." Katsura declared.
"I admire your courage. But this battle is escalating beyond what we've calculated. Probability of success is at an all time low." Mecha G responded.
"Don't say that. I am not going home until I can make sure my father will live a long life after this." Katsura asserted.
There was a silence between them. Over the years as the A.I has started to study human emotion, it has grown accustomed to Katsura's presence. To the point where it has started to act less robotic and more human.
Some say this would be a bad thing because it might use this knowledge to go against it's creators. But Mechagojira does not dare to do that. It has formed a bond with Katsura throughout all their battles and if there's one thing it knows for sure, it's that she never goes down without at least getting a few fatal hits in.
"You really are just as stubborn as Yoshido says you are." Mecha G remarked. Talking about Katsura's fellow mech pilot.
"Yeah well, Yoshi probably meant it as a compliment." Katsura smirked.
"Do you want me to unload the Volley on him?" Mecha G asked in anticipation.
"Let's give em' hell." Katsura ordered.
"If that's what you want..." The Garuda's cannons then came down near Mechagojira's shoulders and it's missile compartments were opening along with all of Mechagojira's weaponry.
Mechagojira Type-2's Finger Missiles, Shock Anchors, Plasma Grenade, along with Garuda's Kaleido Shot beams and missiles were being prepared.
The Kaleido Scream stopped as Mechagojira was charging it's arsenal. Bagan shook his head in irritation as he saw the Mecha standing in place.
If it's so open to the idea of standing still there is discharging it's attack, then he might as well give it what it deserves. Bagan opened his wings and using his ability to fly, leaped into the sky and began his charge towards Mechagojira.
"... Then hell is what he shall receive." Mecha G finished.
The first things to shoot out were the Shock Anchors and they tied themselves onto Bagan and shocked him. The rest of Mechagojira's arsenal followed suit, each blow was massive. It was the biggest attack the mech has ever caused. And it was so effective that Bagan was starting to get damaged.
His horn was cracking, his wings were burning. And his chest was being drilled into by the Plasma Grenade. Because he has been fighting for more than an hour now, he sustained a lot of damage. Even with a weakened Gojira he still caused most of that damage using his Hyper Spiral Ray. The same beam he used on Mechagojira to end their second fight.
It was a surprise to Bagan that a manmade machine was causing more damage to him than his own rival was. But it wss only because Bagan was already damaged to begin with.
Right now is not the time to play games. If Bagan really wants to fulfill his conquest to rid every single Deusaurus from this planet then he needs to take care of any annoyances that are bound to get in the way.
Bagan's wings lit up, and three projectiles formed and raised themselves into the sky. His Diamond Storm ravaged Mechagojira, cancelling it's Volley Attack.
After he cut the Shock Anchor's wires, he charged forward with his head down. Mechagojira's chest was met with a horn through it. But it shot another Plasma Grenade to push Bagan back.
It was almost like this imitation was just as determined as the monster it was designed to look like. Mechagojira then boosted forwards using it's jets and using it's drill tail, pierced into Bagan's lower jaw.
Bagan quickly pulled the drill out. Dagon already did a number on his jaw during their fight in China years ago. If he keeps letting his opponents do this then he'll lose his jaw completely.
The lower jaw was unstable now. If Mechagojira blasted that with any of
it's energy beams it would probably blow it off.
"Heh. Looks like you do bleed after all." Katsura observed.
This angered Bagan. He expected that this would be easy. All he thought was that he'd awaken, summon his followers, and annihilate the Deusaurus species. He did not predict that he'd have to bleed during this fight.
A furious roar erupted from Bagan as he used another Storm Punch. This one was aimed at Mechagojira's face where Katsura was located. But the mech blocked it with it's left hand.
A giant shockwave occurred as Mechagojira was blown away. Katsura was in a rush to get the mech back on its feet. If even a second is wasted it could cost the pilot her life.
"Damage sustained at 40 percent." Mecha G said.
The Mecha was now looking like how it looked during it's fight with Gojira in New York. It's left arm was not only torn, it was completely gone now.
"Crap. Any suggestions? And I am not retreating if that's what you want." Katsura stated.
"I am not sure if there is a response to something like this." Mecha G responded.
"What? What are you talking about?" Katsura asked.
"We have exhausted almost all of our weapons. If we keep using the energy weapons it might fry my systems. I apologize for not meeting your criteria." Mecha G responded.
Katsura wasn't about to believe that. There has to be something they can do while they buy Gojira some time to get up. They can't sit around and wait for things to happen.
"Don't you have some kind of special weapon hidden within your programming? Like something that was just put into you recently? Anything?! That can't be it." Katsura shouted.
"I'm afraid not. If I use another attack like that it'll overheat me. Normally when I use the Proton Scream it doesn't. But with the added power of the Garuda, I have to cool down my temperature from time to time. While yes we have more power, it does come at a price." Mecha G admitted.
"... S-so is that it? We're just going to give up and let that thing enslave everyone on this planet?!" Katsura screamed.
"That's not what I'm implying." Mecha G replied.
"Then what?! You were made to protect people! Why are you just giving in now?! Especially at a time like this-" Katsura was cut off.
"Because even a machine has limits. I apologize that I am not as efficient as you'd want me to be, Katsura. But everything is flawed. Even I'm willing to admit that." Mecha G interrupted.
Katsura was starting to feel the same feeling she felt when Mechagojira was trapped under a building in New York. She felt hopeless. If Gojira, the Kaiju King can't defeat Bagan, what future do they have?
Are they just supposed to accept the fact that failure is unavoidable? They've seen what Gojira has done, he has beaten threats that are nearly on the level of Bagan. How come he's not able to do it now?
Katsura closed her eyes. If she was to die now she wouldn't want her father to see her cold, dead eyes if he ever finds her remains. The girl covered her ears as well, this reminded her of the first time she experienced a Kaiju attack back when she was only thirteen. She was so caught in her own fear she did nothing but hope that it was all just a nightmare and that she'd be woken up by her parents.
"Please be a dream... I don't want to go. Papa... He needs me." Katsura whispered.
"Katsura, this will not be the end. Not for you at least. There will always be someone to fight against Bagan. Whether it be Gojira or something else I assure you that- atomic energy surge?" Mecha G was caught off guard.
Just as Bagan was about to use his horn to cut into Mechagojira's head. A blue beam of fire sped towards him, and the beam had purple spirals around it. It was a Hyper Spiral Ray.
Bagan's shoulder was met with a severe burning sensation. He roared in pain as the breath drilled into his arm, it almost cut the limb off if it didn't dissipate immediately after it was shot.
When Bagan turned to look at who shot the blast. It was a wonder why he was even surprised.
Even though his roar was raspier than usual, Gojira still stood his ground. His regenerative process may be slow but it was enough to get him back on his feet.
How can this lizard still have it in him to fight, let alone walk? He should've given up as soon as that Diamond Storm hit. Bagan's anger was beginning to worsen. This irritant is even more of a nuisance than his parents. And if he doesn't get rid of Gojira then who knows what else he's got planned.
Bagan's wings started glowing, hee boosted towards Gojira at a speed not even planes can rival. The Kaiju King was in a croaching position and had his arms to the side like he was expecting this attack.
A loud crash was heard when Bagan rammed into Gojira, but the King stopped Bagan's furious charge by holding onto the other two horns on the Demon Beast's head.
Gojira then chomped on the central nasal horn of Bagan and began to shake to get it off. So, this is how much determination this runt had? It's about time somebody put him in his place, he doesn't deserve his throne.
Bagan thrusted forward. for the first time in over a century, Bagan's horn was stained with blood once again. But this time, the blood of the son of the previous Deusaurus he had killed. It was almost poetic in a way.
Through the pain, Gojira didn't make a sound. He wasn't about to show weakness to the likes of Bagan. The horn was cutting into his chest, but Gojira tightened the grip of his mouth.
A crack was heard. Bagan quickly pulled his horn out as Gojira staggered backwards. While the horn did pierce him, it wasn't enough to reach his heart.
Not only was his jaw severely damaged. If he loses his horns then he's going to be facing another problem since those are what charge his energy attacks. If that's how this lizard wants to play this, then why doesn't he give Gojira a taste of his own poison?
Using his tail as a mace, he whacked Gojira's face and his back was now facing Bagan as the Demon Beast relished in what he was about to do.
A buzzing sound was heard from behind. Gojira tried to turn around but all he saw was a bright blue flash but this was not his Atomic Breath.
It was Bagan's Chaos Buster.
He shot that beam straight into Gojira's back. If the lizard was planning on getting rid of the power source to Bagan's energy then he might as well do the same to Gojira. The Demon Beast was so angered by Gojira he shoved his beam even further.
Gojira gritted his teeth. He will not squeal, scream, or make any sound that would indicate he was in pain. Not when there is so much on the line. Although, it was at that point that the damage had already been done.
A gargantuan burst of energy erupted. Miki ran into the palace as the shockwave pushed her inside. She needed to get to Princess Yuna in order to convince her. It's the only way for them to defeat Bagan.
At last, Gojira, the mightiest of all the Kaiju. The one who never backs down from a fight unless he needs to reassess the situation. Was now at the mercy of his nemesis.
The King was on the floor. His dorsal spikes, those giant protrusions that used to rip through the waves were little more than small stumps now. Bagan had shattered all of them and the only pieces that were left were on the ground next to Gojira.
Was this a mistake? He should've waited until his other allies were up again before he fought Bagan. He would've stood a better chance but his goal of getting revenge blinded him.
What can he do? If he tries to charge anything, his body might explode since those spikes were needed to store the heat he'd use for his energy attacks. Without them he's unstable. His body had given up at that point, he couldn't move anymore and only his eyes were left open.
Damn it. Why can't he ever find peace? Whenever he thinks that his life is finally going somewhere, something always shows up to threaten it. Gojira may be powerful, but in the end he wants something that deep down every being would want. The satisfaction of knowing you can live a full life without any more conflicts getting in the way. But because of who Gojira is and how many enemies he will attract, he might never get that luxury.
He can't fall now. The only reason he's even alive right now is because his parents were able to hide him away. What's the point of their sacrifice if he just let's himself die at the hands of the one who took their lives?
The battlefield was coated in blood red flames. most of the remaining humans and people of Nilai-Kanai were being transported away via military airships like the Moonlight SY-3 and the Gotengo.
The allied Kaiju who were fighting alongside the Deusaurus Clan were just forced to watch because they were drained from the fight they had with Bagan's team. Even Guardian Ghidorah was exhausted.
Bagan picked Gojira up by the back of his neck. And when he pulled Gojira in to get a closer look, the expression Gojira had was not of anger. It was of sadness and disappointment.
All these years, he's been doing nothing but prepare for this moment. The only reason he's been trying to become larger is so that he could surpass Bagan in both physical strength and power. But now, he has nothing he can use against him.
What would his parents think? He wouldn't blame them if they thought he was worthless. Considering the fact that he wasn't able to avenge them, he pretty much is.
A dinosaur with the ability to cry is not something people think of a lot of the time. Some would even say it's downright stupid. But because of Gojira's situation and the fact that he's a sentient creature who's only now realizing he won't fulfill the promise he made years ago, Tears started forming in his eyes.
It's surreal to see the King cry. He's so powerful and fearsome that you'd think he doesn't even know about the feeling of sadness. But in truth, he's known it ever since he was just a juvenile. It's just now coming back to the surface after he buried that trauma, or tried to.
Bagan however, laughed maniacally. How embarrassing. This is the one that was supposed to beat him?, The son of Dagon and Bijirin? What a joke, he expected a better fight than this. In fact, why doesn't he just kill Gojira for being weak? Bagan wanted a real fight and all he got was an appetizer. And besides, what does this lizard have to live for?
His race is about to be extinguished. Might as well kill him now at his lowest-
Bagan was taken out of his thoughts when a ring of energy slammed into the left side of his head.
It was Minira. He was with his adoptive mother, Gojirin. Minira doesn't even know who his real parents are but he isn't about to let his adoptive father die to this monster. Even if they weren't related, Gojira still treated Minira as if he was his own son.
Gojirin wasn't going to allow Bagan to take the only Deusaurus who's ever given her love. When they first met, she was uncertain of him since she hadn't seen a member of her kind for so long. But she never denied him any sort of love when he himself expressed his.
Both of the Deusaurus roared at Bagan to let go of Gojira. The King's eyes opened and he was now fueled with fear.
They can't be here. They should be running! Why stay here and help a weak lizard who's already on his deathbed?!
With the last of his strength, Gojira roared back at them to leave him. It's better that he dies and they live but even though they aren't related other than them being the same species, Minira is his father's son. And if there's anything he inherited from Gojira's personality, it's that he doesn't back down.
Bagan threw Gojira to the floor and stared at the two Deusaurus. These reptilians really are as foolish as they look. They'd do anything to preserve their helpless species. Reminds him of Gojira's parents and their foolish goal to keep their son alive which ultimately killed them.
The Demon Beast lifted his right foot and stomped the ground to intimidate the two. They shot back with slamming their tails to the ground. A spark emitted from Minira and Gojirin's tails that quickly ran up to their backs as their spikes started glowing.
The mother and son blasted two beams that combined into one. Miki referred to this as the "Bonded Atomic Breath" it only happens when there's more than one Deusaurus involved.
Bagan was expecting nothing much from it. If a normal Atomic Breath can't do anything then what was this going to do?
When the bonded beam hit Bagan, it actually pushed him Bagan a couple of feet. He must admit, for a bunch of dumb lizards they sure are powerful when they work together.
Bagan was done underestimating these things. If he's to put an end to them then he must take every single one of them seriously.
The Demon Beast unleashed a Diamond Storm aimed at Minira. When the projectiles boosted down, Gojirin got in the way and blocked them to protect her adoptive son. But even then she was still screeching in pain.
If these idiots want to protect Gojira so bad. Then they'll receive the same treatment he did. He'll start with Minira since he's going to be easier to kill. And once that happens it'll send Gojirin into a blind rage, attacking at random without thinking which will lead into a short victory.
Bagan laughed as he marched towards the pair. Gojira started to scream out to his nemesis. He doesn't even care if he's finally showing weakness, his roars weren't that of a creature looking for a fight anymore. It was the roar of a father and a mate who only wanted his family to live on even if they have to cope with his death.
Does he honestly think this will make Bagan stop? What a fool. He's going to enjoy every single bit of this. Gojira may not have been present when his parents were killed. But Bagan will make sure he'll see his new family perish.

What do you think?
Question in the title. I'm thinking maybe brute wyvern, since he's bipedal and, well, burly. Bit what do you guys think?
I had an opportunity to enter a school classroom over the weekend (mostly legally, don’t worry) and I gifted it with a Goji
This was my attempt at drawing Godzilla with (mostly) no reference photos.
Ghidorah next.
It says second generation, meaning yes, 1954 is canon in this universe
When the 100th anniversary comes around, what do you think Toho should make for the occasion?
I think they should make a full movie, with every single Godzilla incarnation showing up in one crossover and fighting one great threat. It could be a ghidorah, all the evil Kaiju over the years, a Hedorah invasion, or each other.
Or they could just remake the original again with better effects.
