There is news that a new Godzilla Console Game is currently in development! This should be something for Kaiju Gamers since Godzilla PS4, Gigabash, and Godzilla Save The Earth: Melee!
My take on what the next MonsterVerse film directed by Grant Sputore dated March 26, 2027 could look like. A guy can dream. They ain't in the poster but SpaceGodzilla is the main antagonist and the Vortaak, Obsidius and Krystalak are primary antagonists.
I'm really proud of this poster. Posted it on my Twitter and Deviantart as well. Also I hope they use Fosphera in some way shape or form.

ORIGINS AND HISTORY
The hostile and power-hungry Vortaak have been using their "guardian," known by Monarch as SpaceGodzilla, to conquer many planets for thousands of years just to expand their Empire. The race was feared by many, even other hostile races like the Xiliens. When arriving on Earth some time after the events of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, they we're aware that the ruling titan, Godzilla, would notice them as they used his DNA to create SpaceGodzilla, so in secret, the Queen, Vorticia (Sigourney Weaver) ordered a terraforming process to get Godzilla and the titans distracted. The terraforming caused climate shifts and earthquakes across the surface world. Several Titans are mind controlled and begin attacking as well, and SpaceGodzilla eventually arrives on Earth.
After fighting and weakening Godzilla in across the planet, SpaceGodzilla creates a fortress in the ruins of New York, drilling into the Hollow Earth with his Corona Beam, as the Hollow Earth is a new power source. Obsideous, who attacked Seattle, and Krystalak, who just emerged from a crystal meteor, side with SpaceGodzilla. Mothra and Rodan arrived to battle SpaceGodzilla but we're no match for the monster.
Godzilla and Anguirus arrive and battle Apex's repaired Mechagodzilla, and eventually battle with SpaceGodzilla, Obsideous and Krystalak in a long difficult battle. MOGUERA arrives and battles SpaceGodzilla, splitting into the Land MOGUERA and Star Falcon. The Titans and mechs are eventually weakened by SpaceGodzilla, and he and his allies continue to conquer earth for the Vortaak. However, glowing spores arrive and Biollante arrives from the Hollow Earth hole SpaceGodzilla drilled, to the shock of Monarch and the G-Team.
Godzilla, Mothra, Anguirus, Rodan, Mechagodzilla, MOGUERA and Biollante all team up against SpaceGodzilla, Obsideous and Krystalak, eventually finally destroying him and scarring away the Vortaak, Godzilla blasting the Mothership with his atomic breath.
Despite being defeated for years, SpaceGodzilla is one of the resurrected Titans seen in the final battle in Destroy All Monsters: Final Wars (2040).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
SpaceGodzilla, being the "guardian" of the Vortaak, was worshipped by them as well.
His creation can be seen at the end of Ghidorah: Monster Zero (2030).

Ight, so i just got done with a play-through of Godzilla: Unleashed and i use alien faction and i switch up it, I play as Showa Mechagodzilla, But instead of doin' alien shit i go Destroy the Green Crystals, Kill other Aliens, Support the GDF and its all goin well. I even helped Anguirus and Mothra destroy the Malfunctioning Mothership. So i get to Final Stage, And me and my teammates RIP through space g and his fellow Bozos, Just to get the Vortaak Ending? i know this sounds very stupid like "Duhhh your playing as a space robot alien, what do you expect?" TBH yeah your right but c'mon you really cant detect that i've mauled every alien that even step foot on earth Alongside Godzilla. I know i'm complaining about some 15 year old game but damn, that kinda ticks me off.
Just a rant.
EDIT: I tagged some stuff
Godzilla: Unleashed had a total of 20 monsters for the PS2 version and 26 for the Wii version.
However, if you had a choice to add ten more monsters (giving both games the same amount of monsters to make it an even 28 beforehand), which ten would you add?
Be Aware
- They have to had existed before 2007, so no Reiwa or Monsterverse monsters.
- You can include video game-specific monsters from previous games.
- Hedorah is not available; they couldn't do his body texture or transformations.
- Monster X and Keizer Ghidorah count as two entries; they couldn't do his transformation.
- You can't use monsters not owned by Toho, so no King Kong (or Mechani-Kong), Clover or Gamera; all four of whom were considered but rejected.

Just so people aren't confused when I say "28" Monsters:
01. Godzilla 2000
02. Godzilla 90's
03. Godzilla 1954
04. Anguirus
05. Fire Rodan
06. Mothra (Larvae/Imago)
07. Baragon
08. King Caesar
09. Varan
10. Gigan (Classic)
11. Gigan (Final Wars)
12. Megalon
13. MechaGodzilla
14. Orga
15. King Ghidorah
16. M.O.G.U.E.R.A
17. MechaGodzilla 2
18. Kiryu
19. Jet Jaguar
20. Mecha-King Ghidorah
21. Battra (Larvae/Imago)
22. Biollante
23. Megaguirus
24. Titanosaurus
25. Destoroyah
26. Obsidius
27. SpaceGodzilla
28. Krystalak
Curious to see which ten monsters you choose.
A bit of an idea for you to play around with.
In Mortal Kombat, each character has their own individual epilogue that plays when you win the game's Arcade mode as said character.
However, what if that idea was used for Godzilla Unleashed with each monster having three potential endings?
The first - Hero - would be used for if the character stayed true to their alignment and its goals, like Kiryu sticking to his role as a part of the G.D.F to protect the Earth or King Ghidorah sticking to his role as one of the Aliens to help the Vortaak conquer Earth.
The second - Traitor - would be used if the character abandoned their alignment and its goals to join another group, like Titanosaurus abandoning the Mutants to join the Earth Defenders or Rodan abandoning the Earth Defenders to join the Aliens.
The third - Tyrant - would be used if your monster absorbed all/most of the Power Surges; becoming the most powerful monster on Earth but also corrupting your mind so all other groups see you as a threat to be destroyed.
(Honestly, some of these would be fun to play with. For example, can you imagine the likes of SpaceGodzilla or Destoroyah joining the Earth Defenders?)
I'll probably add my own ideas for a monster's three epilogues later, but which monster would you make a trio of epilogues for?
Curious to see what you come up with.
In my opinion the best Earth Defender in the game
So his stats aren't that much to gleam at, they are actually either tied or lower than Baragons (except Health he has 5 health bars instead of 4) so he'd be worse right? Well you'd be dead wrong because his moveset is incredible
He can literally glide into combos, his moves allow for easy combo play and his moves in general are pretty good
I guess you could also technically classify him as a "Flyer" although he glides so it's not a permanent flight
Honestly his Weapon Stat is pretty ass, but that dont really matter when he can glide at his enemies and start beating the shit out of them with move after move
Now I've said it before but Varan was actually chosen over Bagan by the Devs, I still would say I'd rather have seen Bagan but in a perfect world bring both and scrap 1954 instead because damn is Varan fun, his unlock methods make no fucking sense whatsoever but get passed whatever the fuck that was and he is fantastic
I dont think he is God Tier, but he is definitely at the top of Great for now, his moves are fun to use and interesting and in the hands of a skilled player he can be devastating:
And we are done with the Earth Defenders, so I have spun the Wheel to decide the next Faction and the next Monster I will review:
Not worth the effort.
So move wise he has literally nothing unique about him, he is just a Godzilla 1990's clone, the only difference is the color of his atomic breath is white
He does have Stat differences, he has a 5 in both attack and defense, he also has 3 speed stat so that's not good, I guess his stats are okay, but the 3 in speed ain't great since the other Godzilla's dont have a stat that low
He also is ridiculous to actually get, so this is everything you have to do:
You have to have the Wii version of the game so that's already a bad start being console exclusive
You have to unlock Every Single Monster in the entire game
And finally you have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to actually get him, he's tied with Spacegodzilla as the most expensive monster to unlock in the store, and even then you have to buy the other monsters before you get him
And you want to know the biggest kicker? All that work and you can only use him in the Multiplayer Modes, yeah, he's not even that good
And yeah I know other characters can technically be considered clones of eachother, Heisei Mechagodzilla/Showa Mechagodzilla and King Ghidorah/Mecha King Ghidorah are very similar, but they also got some moves that make a noticable difference to them, 1954 has nothing unique about him
I guess the idea was he was just a nice unlock, but he really ain't worth all the effort, its interesting sure but I'd much rather seen the resources spent on another actual monster and not a clone of Godzilla 1990
Like Zilla, Bagan, One of the other 3 Video Game Vote Kaiju that lost to Obsidius, like why? Such a waste
As you can probably tell 1954 is at the bottom of the Bad Tier, he ain't good and he ain't worth the effort, I guess he ain't terrible but he definitely was not good and was definitely a lackluster final unlock:
Next time there's only 1 monster left and that's Varan so yeah, no need for the Spin Wheel on this one although as you can see I edited the Tier List abit, the only real change is Mothra got buffed up a Tier
The Boy (also this is incredibly late)
So to start he has the best Defense in the entire game at 8 (the highest stats other than Health can go) and not only that but whenever another monster hits his Shell it'll damage them and cause them to recoil so physically he's a beast
He does have a lackluster weapon stat and his weapon is pretty interesting dealing damage infront of his general direction and the most unique thing about it is he cant go into beam battles, which can be a plus or negative depending on your view, that does mean he has trouble with flyers though
His overall moveset is pretty good, with that protection from his Shell he is a pretty strong fighter
All that in consideration I'd place him at the bottom of Great for now, I think he is definitely very strong head on, but he suffers against flyers, he is a very unique character for sure though:
Only 2 left, next up is:
Surprisingly good
So he has some really good stats, he is a glass Cannon although he ain't too weak either, he can deal some pretty good damage, he has high speed and his defense stat ain't bad
His only weak stats are his health since he has only 4 HP Bars and Weapon but he is very agile, he has the second best burrow in the game as well so overall a surprisingly good fighter
Also something worth noting is he has more Weaknesses than Resistances
Also his Critical Mass form is probably one of my favorites, definitely one of them for the Earth Defenders
With all that being said I'd place him in the Great Tier, I'll place him just above Godzilla although I definitely think that could change, they are definitely very close for me:
Next up is:
The better Earth Defender Flyer
So to get it out the way yeah his stats could be better, but he is very fast when flying and has really good moves
They dont deal the most damage in the world but they are pretty good and lead well into eachother which helps compensate for his lack of solid stats
I think he does have probably abit too many negatives to him but in terms of flyers he is pretty solid and the second fastest flyer in the game
I'd rank him in Average Tier above King Ceasar, he has some pretty good moves but his stats weigh him down:
Next up is:
She is one of the few transforming units, so 2 for one review?
So her stats in the menu are for her Larva stats so they aren't always that low, the Larva Form is pretty mediocre, honestly you'd just use it to deal some damage before using the transformation to get your health back so I'm not really gonna go too in depth with her Larva form, she does have a burrow ability that's worth mentioning and she automatically generates energy, but that's about it
Her Imago Form is the form you'd want to use, she's one of the flyers and honestly in my opinion she's probably the worst, her attack and defense stats aren't good, she does have one of the highest resistances in the game with 6 but she could be better, she is pretty fast and has a good weapon stat but some of her physical attacks are janky and awkward
Her most notable moves are her ultimate which does a AoE Stun effect and her Scale Cloud which completely blocks projectile damage that hits the cloud and damages enemies standing in it
Honestly I'd place her in Bad Tier, she does have some utility but there's much better flyers even in the Earth Defenders so just use those instead, she does have her niche abilities which can be useful and her being playable on every port is welcome but she herself ain't all that great:
Next up is:
Decent fighter
So he is a Wii Exclusive Fighter so that does dumb down his ranking abit as he is less accessible than other options
But he is a decent fighter, he has some really good attacks and there aren't really any bad moves I'd say
He has pretty solid stats, basically the same as Godzilla 2000 but he does have quite afew resistances to Weapon Damage with a reduction to:
Alien Energy
Concussive
Electricity
Heat
Explosion
He is weak to freezing and poison damage but luckily those are pretty rare damage types, one interesting downside is he only starts with 1 Energy Bar filled, Why? I dont know, but that's just how it is
With all that said I'd probably place him in Average, he got some good physical attacks but being a console exclusive does hurt his ranking abit, maybe down the line I could move him to higher but for now this is where he ranks:
Next up is:
The second Godzilla
So similar stats as Godzilla 2000, they are basically a reverse of his with Godzilla 2000 doing more physical damage and has more speed, but Godzilla 1990 has more defense and weapon damage, but I think he's worse overall
I think his attacks are abit bland, not as good as Godzilla 2000 who of which has the most unique moveset of the 3 and of course you also got to do quite afew loopholes to even get 1990 unlockable in the Wii version
I think his grab ability is also bizzare since once its finished he ends up in a knocked out state where you have to get back up, really weird
And speaking of bizzare his character intro feels incredibly lazy, like the camera doesn't even fucking fixate on him and he goes completely out of frame in part of it
One big negative is how inaccessible he is, he can be played in Campaign for the PS2 Version of Unleashed, but in the Wii version he cant be used in any mode other than Versus so that's not great
I do like how his Critical Mass form is basically Burning Godzilla but without the breath, but the fact that he is locked behind multiplayer in the Wii version just sucks, like I said he is playable in the PS2 version, but I know the PS2 version also lacks alot of stuff the Wii version benefits from
So with all that in mind I'd personally place him in the Bad Tier, he isn't awful and I'll flat out say nothing goes into the Trash Tier in my opinion, I think everyone has something to offer, but being locked behind Multiplayer in the Wii Version just drags him down and I don't think he is that interesting
Next up is:
So I start with Godzilla because 1 it's just a good start and 2 I made a spin wheel and it landed on him anyways so its fate
So as the poster boy protagonist he is a very good all rounder, he is a jack of all trades
He is pretty decent in all his stats, none of them really stand out and he isn't really weak in any either, his moves are also overall pretty good and useful
There's really not much to talk about, I will say I think he is above average though, yeah he ain't incredible, but he ain't bad either he is a great versatile pick for anyone to try using and his Critical Mass state is pretty badass looking:
Overall pretty solid Fighter, I'd place him in the Great Tier, because he is so versatile and all of his moves are pretty good, he dont really have any downsides and is a good first pick:
