-*The body of an ancient monster called [[Gigan]] is descovered. The [[Gotengo]], a multi-purpose air-ship, attacks and kills the monster [[Manda]] off the coast of Britain. Soon after, many major cities of the world are besieged by a gigantic horde of monsters: [[Rodan]] attacks New York, [[Anguirus]] tramples Shanghai, [[Zilla]] levels Sydney, [[Kamacuras]] assaults Paris, [[King Ceasar]] smashes Okinawa, [[Kumonga]] appears in Arizona and then in New Guinea, and [[Ebirah]] crushes Tokyo. Suddenly, all the monsters dissapear, and the culprits show themselves to be aliens dubbed the Xilians. They claim to come in peace, saying they have proved themselves by saving the world from the monster's onslought. However, their true intentions are soon revieled, and the Xilians launch an all-out assault against the Earth, releasing the monsters (this time, with the inclusion of [[Hedorah]] and the revived Gigan) against the world's cities. Captain Gordon of the Gotengo decides that the only option is to release [[Godzilla]] from his Arctic prison, and hope he can defeat the monsters. They succeed in releasing the King of the Monsters, who fights and defeats Gigan before leaving the Arctic. Godzilla then makes his way to Sydney and defeats Zilla, and then to New Guinea where he disposes of Kumonga. He next travels to the coast of Japan and kills Kamacuras, and then to Mt. Fuji where he renders Rodan, Anguirus, and King Ceasar unconscious. He then finally makes it to Tokyo, where he kills Ebirah and Hedorah. The Xilian commander then sends forth the ultimate monster, the mysterious [[Monster X]], to engage Godzilla in the final battle. A repaired Gigan arrives to assist Monster X, but thankfully, the guardian monster [[Mothra]] arives to fight with Godzilla. Mothra eventually sacrifices herself and kills Gigan once and for all, and the Gotengo succedes in destroying the Xilian mothership. However, the alien commander channels his energy into Monster X, who then transforms into a new form: [[Keizer Ghidorah]]. This new monster nearly succeeds in killing Godzilla, but a surge of energy from the Gotengo energizes the King of Monsters, and he finally destroyes Ghidorah once and for all. Unfortunatly, Godzilla then turns on the Gotengo and shoots it down. However, before he can destroy it, Godzilla's son [[Minilla]] arives on the scene and pleads with his father to spare the ship. Godzilla seems to agree, and turns his tail and wades out into the sea with his son, sparing the Gotengo and ending his feud with humanity. After 50 years, it is finally over, and the world is safe.
