The name, "Aloe Turtle" refers to the numerous growths of Aloe Vera protruding from the creature's shell.

Aloe Turtles are large terrestrial turtles with four tortoise-like legs, a rotund stony shell with numerous growths of Aloe Vera protruding from it, and a stocky head armed with a toothless beak.
Personality[]
Aloe Turtles are docile creatures. When shipwreck survivors Irene and Cap encounter one, the creature simply looks at the duo before promptly walking away into the jungle of Skull Island.
While traversing through the jungles of Skull Island, shipwreck survivors Irene and Cap stumble upon rock covered in Aloe Vera. The rock subsequently rises, revealing itself to be an Aloe Turtle that had been camouflaging against the ground. The Aloe Turtle briefly stares at the duo before walking away deeper into the jungle.

Aloe Turtles are capable of camouflaging against the ground, giving them the appearance of a large boulder covered in Aloe Vera.

Trivia[]
A creature similar to the plant-based turtle, the Magma Turtle, is also native to Skull Island. Although it is yet to be confirmed if the two are the same species, they were designed to evoke each other.[1]
