Anguirus (アンギラス Angirasu?) is a character that appears in the web series, Godziban, and acts as Godzilla-kun's best friend.
Name[]
Anguirus's Japanese name, Angirasu (アンギラス), comes from the Japanese spelling of the name of the dinosaur genus Ankylosaurus (アンキロサウルス Ankirosaurusu), upon which the monster's design is based. The name was chosen from several names proposed by employees of Toho during production of Godzilla Raids Again.

Secret Training Dojo[]
As the three Godzilla brothers were approaching their secret training dojo, they encountered Anguirus, who had a brief conversation with Godzilla-kun about what the brothers were doing. Later on, Anguirus would join the Godzilla brothers eating bananas.
Secret Move! Dropkick![]
Anguirus would watch in confusion as the three Godzilla brothers holding onto a rock and Moshu-Moshu rolled around the half point of the secret training dojo.
Run On, Godzilla Brothers![]
Anguirus, alongside Baragon and Moshu-Moshu, would join the race with the three Godzilla brothers, Anguirus being paired with Godzilla-kun. During their run, Anguirus and Godzilla-kun began communicating without speaking due to them being best friends. Moshu-Moshu would then shoot right past them, causing Anguirus and Godzilla-kun to spin out. Anguirus would then participate in the final race where he would have to get a flag on top of a hill, though Moshu-Moshu and Minilla would win this race.
Fly to the Cliff![]
Anguirus would tell the three Godzilla brothers about an egg he spotted on a cliff and led the trio to the egg. Anguirus then tried to climb up the cliff, nearly reaching the egg but would loose his grip, curling up into a spike ball and rolling down the cliff. Anguirus would then try again alongside the three Godzilla brothers, once again falling down and curling into a ball.

Anguirus is capable of running at equal speeds with Godzilla-kun, although unlike Godzilla-kun, Anguirus was completely fine after the race.

Anguirus can curl up into a spike ball and begin rolling at incredible speeds.

Anguirus can speak with Godzilla-kun without using words due to the fact that they're best friends.
