Bingo Maru

Bingo Maru was a fictional freighter-turned-rescue ship which made its first and only appearance in the 1954 Godzilla film, Godzilla.

This ship appeared briefly, and was depicted as a freighter, with a dark hull. It was also capable of generating enough steam to cause visible smoke in the night.

Shortly after the destruction of the Eikou Maru, the Bingo Maru was sent out by the shipping company to search for any survivors of the ship's mysterious disaster. Traveling south towards the ship's last known location, it too was set on fire by the same unknown source, and sank quickly, leaving only a few survivors to limp across the sea on a raft to Odo Island.
