Caroline married Hiroshi Randa at some time before or during 1984, as they celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary before 2015. They had a daughter together, Cate.
2014[]
Caroline was in San Francisco when Godzilla battles the MUTOs in the city. She was separated from her daughter during the battle. They spent a few days in a camp before Hiroshi returned to give Cate two bus tickets to get them out of the city. One week later, Caroline received a call from the state police in Fairbanks, Alaska. The bush plane he was on disappeared in a storm. They never found the wreckage. Hiroshi was presumed deceased.
