Destoroyah (デストロイア Desutoroia?, lit. Destroyer) of the Legends continuity is a crustacean kaiju that appeared in the IDW comic series Godzilla: Legends.

Destoroyah's first appearance was in the first issue story The Underdog. In that universe, Destoroyah is the second most powerful monster next to Godzilla. He first appears attacking Sydney, Australia when a signal that was initially used to summon Godzilla instead summons Anguirus, a monster who has lived in the shadow of the Monster King.
Although Destoroyah has the upper hand over Anguirus, the tide turns to Anguirus' favor when a duo who survived the more powerful kaiju's attack on a military base offer him aid and use a cryogenic material to make Destoroyah vulnerable and allowing Anguirus to slam into him, sending Destoroyah into a full-on retreat.

Destoroyah has enhanced fission and fusion abilities, able to split apart into microorganisms that can reconstitute into different forms for combat.
Micro-Oxygen Beam[]
Destoroyah can fire a purple beam of energy from his mouth. It is shown to blast through buildings instantly, and it is shown to instantly down Anguirus.
Variable Slicer[]
Destoroyah can use the horn on his head to slice through buildings.
Flight[]
With his massive wings, Destoroyah can take flight and can keep up with jets and helicopters at high speeds.
Claw tail[]
Destoroyah's tail is capable of clamping down, piercing Anguirus's skin, and can toss the kaiju across the city.
