Captain Douglas Gordon is the captain of the Gotengo.
Many years before the events of Final Wars, Gordon was part of the crew of the first Gotengo when it battled Godzilla in Antartica. In fact, he was the one that fired the winning shot that buried Godzilla in the avalanche.
