King Kong Escapes

Doctor Hu runs a nondescript, presumably criminal, enterprise. He plans to use Mechani-Kong and King Kong to mine the powerful Element X for an undisclosed country to make nuclear weapons with. After his initial mining attempts fail due to Element X's magnetic waves causing Mechani-Kong to break down, he begins to rebuild the robot. Operations continue until he hears of the real Kong's discovery on Mondo Island, and decides to kidnap him instead. When Kong is in custody, Hu implements hypnosis to control the gargantuan ape. For a short time all goes as planned, but the rays emitted by Element X caused the control apparatuses to malfunction, and Kong to awaken. After this, Hu captures his former colleague Carl Nelson and his team. After initial noncooperation, Hu locks them in a cell in his base in the Arctic. Hu begins to torture his captives, but they are saved by King Kong's escape from captivity, which causes the base to collapse. Hu spares no time in relocating to his boat. Hu shortly decides to chase King Kong, who has gone to Tokyo, with Mechani-Kong to destroy him. Kong later destroys Doctor Hu's boat, killing his lackeys. Doctor Hu survives, and orders Mechani-Kong to pursue Kong up Tokyo Tower. However, a successful attack on Hu's machines by Madame Piranha kills Hu and disables Mechani-Kong, causing it to fall off Tokyo Tower to its imminent destruction. Template:Era
