The F86F Saber is a Jet Fighter plane which first appeared in the 1954 Toho film, Gojira/Godzilla, King of the Monsters!, and went on to appear in many of the Showa era films, including Godzilla Raids Again, Rodan, Atragon and Godzilla vs. Gigan. They were usually the first line of defence against rampaging monsters, but were easily repelled and destroyed by the many monsters which they fought against.
