Jiro Torahata (虎畑二郎 Torahata Jirō?) is the main human antagonist in the 1964 Godzilla film Mothra vs. Godzilla.

After a gargantuan egg washed ashore in a flood, Torahata entered business with Mr. Kumayama of Happy Enterprises to create "Shinozura Happy Center," a theme park built around the mystery of what the egg could be. Torahata did all in his power to keep the joint project funded entirley by Kumayama in order to maximize his profits. One evening, when they were discussing plans for the park, the Shobijin appeared to them and implored the two to allow the egg to return to Mothra, but Torahata and Kumayama instead tried to capture the fairies to keep them quiet. After a short struggle, they discovered that they had vanished. The next day, they were approached in Torahata's office by Ichiro Sakai, Junko Nakanishi, and Professor Miura, who brought the Shobijin with them to again ask that they let them take the egg to Mothra. Instead, Kumayama offered to buy the Shobijin. Production on the park continued with Kumayaama's money until Godzilla began approaching the construction site. Upon realizing that only he was financially affected, Kumayama came into Torahata's hotel room and attacked him. After breaking Torahata's nose and leaving him on the floor, Kumayama went to a safe to take Torahata's money, but Torahata removed a handgun from his desk, shot and killed his former partner, and tried to leave the building with all the money from the safe in a bag. However, he was crushed by debris when Godzilla walked past the hotel and destroyed it.
