Flying Ebirah (フライングエビラ Furaingu Ebira?) is a modified giant lobster daikaiju who first appeared in the 1992 Kodansya manga, Godzilla, King of the Monsters.

Flying Ebirah looks almost identical to the normal Ebirah, but has insectoid wings that were grafted onto him by Doctor Oniyama.

Godzilla, King of the Monsters[]
Ebirah was the next monster in Doctor Oniyama's lineup to be pitted against Godzilla, but this time Oniyama decided to work on modifying Ebirah. He grafted giant insectoid wings to the giant lobster, remarking that insects and crustaceans look very much alike. Flying Ebirah first appeared in a South Pacific Beach resort. It used its new wings to fly around and stab at Godzilla, but was impaled on a palm tree and had its new wings torn off by by the monster. It was then frozen and destroyed.

Flying Ebirah has all the same abilities as Ebirah, with the added ability of flight.
