Template:Infobox MonsterThe Ganime  (ガニメ,   Ganime?) of the the AniGoji continuity is a giant coconut crab-like kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, with a seeming subspecies appearing in the 2018 sequel novel, Godzilla: Project Mechagodzilla.

History

Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse

Ganime claimed the Arctic Bering sea as its territory, and Alaskan fishermen were afraid of its rampages during their crab fishing seasons.

It was suggested that it may move or migrate southward by 2030.

Godzilla: Project Mechagodzilla

In December 2047, colonial crustacean-like organisms with "red exoskeletons and the ability to dissolve steel-made doors" attacked a research facility with regards to Hedorah in North America.

Humanity considered these a subspecies of Ganime, but the actual identity of the creatures are unclear due to the difficulties involved in conducting studies among continents that were abandoned by human forces.
