Consisting of a series of one-shot stories, each issue follows a monster in the Godzilla franchise. Godzilla is usually a secondary character in this series, something unique among IDW's comics.

Reception[]
Godzilla: Legends was very well-received, as critics praised the focus placed on lesser-known monsters and the unique art style present in each issue. Matt Frank's artwork on the first issue of the series most likely led to him becoming the lead artist for the later main series, Godzilla: Rulers of Earth.
