The Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters manga adaptation is a manga based on the 2017 Godzilla film, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, and was released on March 29, 2018, on the Shonen Jump Plus site, with a future release of April 6, 2018 for the "Z" comic site.[1][2]

Shonen Jump published the manga, and Yuusu Kurahashi illustrated it. The manga adaptation features content not seen in the film, and further explores character's backstories.

Plot[]

The manga is split into multiple acts, or "episodes", which all deal with a section of the film.

Episode 1[]

Episode 1 starts from the beginning of the film, and goes all the way up to humanity's return to Earth, where Godzilla's survival is confirmed.

Episode 2[]

Episode 2 begins where Episode 1 left off, and details Haruo Sakaki's plan to kill Godzilla, and ending when humanity begins to make landfall on Earth once again.
