Godzilla is a reptilian daikaiju and the main antagonist of Godzilla: Oblivion.

Godzilla's name within the comic series follows the convention of that of the Showa era Godzilla, being a transliteration of Gojira (ゴジラ?), a combination of two Japanese words: "gorira" (ゴリラ?), meaning gorilla, and "kujira" (鯨 or クジラ?), meaning whale.

Godzilla's appearance seems to be based on Heisei incarnation, with smooth charcoal scales that have a pale green tint, golden eyes, and a mammalian snout. His arms are smaller in proportion to his legs, which are thick and sturdy.
Personality[]
Godzilla behaves largely like a territorial animal that will attack anything and anyone that fights him. Despite his aggressiveness, he functions as an overseer of other kaiju, acting as a balancing force to their destruction and keep them from challenging his authority, portraying him as an antivillain than other kaiju in the series.
