Synopsis[]
Plot[]
Godzilla emerges in New York City as a vacation to the United States; his arrival does not faze the New York residents, with some even selling T-shirts and hot dogs based on the monster. Two days later, Godzilla travels around the rest of America, beginning with a drive to the Monster Burger restaurant in Connecticut, causing panic and uproar in the process. Later traveling to Chicago, he participates in a baseball game, where under the alias "Gary Godzi", he helps the Lizards beat the Lions.
In Florida, Godzilla is in the middle of filming an appearance on a local television show when he is called back to New York; while he was gone, a giant cockroach kaiju named Cokra and her offspring infested thousands of apartments in the Upper West Side, calling in the National Guard to deal with the insects. Godzilla travels to an offshore oil tanker where Cokra and her children are and confronts her, but the horde escapes, leaving the damaged tanker with an oil spill for Godzilla to clean up. Afterward, Godzilla battles invading aliens at Cape Canaveral, however, they manage to escape when he accidentally lets go of their spaceship, mocking him as they retreat.
When Cokra and her children eventually arrive at Three Mile Island, Godzilla engages them again. After fighting the cockroaches for several hours, he manages to tire them out. During this brief period, Godzilla partakes in other excursions for himself. However, Cokra and her offspring soon reappear in California, where Godzilla fights her for a third time. During this, the San Andreas Fault generates an earthquake that forces the monsters to cease battling; in a turn of events, the two seem to make amends, with Cokra later leaving Godzilla a box of chocolates as a secret admirer. Godzilla then resumes the rest of his trip, running for Senate with the help of Cokra's children to decorate the White House's Christmas tree, then tanning on, and subsequently accidentally damaging, San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.
At the end of his eventful vacation, Godzilla tearfully begins his long trek home to Japan, having enjoyed his visit to the United States.
