Godzilla: King of the Monsters
The Godzilla Temple was a temple located in Hollow Earth that first appeared in the 2019 film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters
History [ ] After Godzilla was nearly killed by the Oxygen Destroyer during his battle with Ghidorah in Mexico , he retreated to the temple so he could feed on the present radiation in order to heal. With the aid of Mothra , a Monarch team led by Ishiro Serizawa intended to launch a nuclear warhead from a submarine so they could rejuvenate Godzilla. However, the controls were damaged when the submarine crash landed into the Hollow Earth , prompting Serizawa to manually activate the warhead, sacrificing himself and subsequently destroyed the temple whilst successfully restored Godzilla to his full strength.
