Godzilla vs. America is an upcoming four-issue anthology comic book miniseries by IDW Publishing. Each issue will feature a story told by different creators, focusing on a given location in the United States. It is set to be released on February 26, 2025.[1]
Information[]
The series was first announced at the 2024 New York Comic-Con as one of the next projects IDW Publishing had announced for its 2025 Godzilla comics slate. The stories of the anthology series are self-contained, with each issue set in a city the issue's creators are from or currently living in.[1] The series will also expand the scope of Godzilla's roster of American city adventures beyond New York City and San Francisco as seen in past films. The first issue, Godzilla vs. America — Chicago,[2] will focus on Chicago with a "Godzilla vs. Chicago" storyline.[1] Jake Williams will serve as the series' main editor.[2]
Issue #1's creative team consists of Tim Seeley, Mike Costa, Caroline Cash to each write and draw 10-page stories, and Ezra Claytan Daniels will write a 10-page story with Browne on art.[2]
