Civility is a policy on Gojipedia.
What is Civility?
Civility is a standard of conduct that editors should follow. In short, it means treat people politely and with respect even if you are disagreeing with them.
Incivility
Incivility consists of any behavior designed or intended to create stress or conflict.
This includes but is not limited to; insulting other users, rudeness, terse or aggressive behaviors, and excessive profanity.
Disruptive editing is an editorial behavior that is not tolerated on Gojipedia. It s closely related to incivility, although it is possible to edit tendentiously without being uncivil. Editors, both sysops and standard users, should be sensitive to an editor's intent. Most people do not read the rules (and be honest, you probably didn't read any rules pages when you started editing wikis either), and so at first they should be directed towards relevant policies. If the disruption continues after correction, it will result in blocks.
