Kai Tak Airport was the international airport of Hong Kong from 1925 until 1998. The airport makes an appearance at the beginning of the 1995 Godzilla film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
During the prologue, several Boeing 747s were seen at the airport. Just after one of the 747s took off, Godzilla appeared in Kowloon Bay, near the coast of Hong Kong, after having survived the destruction of Birth Island. Godzilla was now covered in mysterious lava like rashes.
