The Kamoebas (カメーバ Kamēba?) of the AniGoji continuity is a species of giant turtle-like kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, a prequel novelization for the 2017 film, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.

Like Ebirahs, several individuals have appeared.
The first Kamoebas was said to have appeared in the Philippines in 2002, only 3 days after the defeat of Dogora.
The second individual (II) appeared on Guam, and humanity battled against it.
In 2030, a suspicious corpse of Kamoebas (IV), a related species to Kamoebas, was found on Odo Island on May 29th; this also served as humanity's first encounter with Godzilla. Kyouhei Yamane, a professor of Strategic Biology named the monster "Gojira" after 呉爾羅, the legendary dragon god of Odo Island. The damage on IV's body was severe; half of its face was crushed, there were lacerations on the right forelimb, and its shell was penetrated and was melting.

Kamoebas (II)'s shell was extremely hardened and bunker busters didn't affect it at all. However, Godzilla was able to penetrate the shell of the (IV) with its beam.
Trivia[]
- Kamoebas' encounter and subsequent death resemble both its appearance and demise in the 1970 film, Space Amoeba and the 2003 film, Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., respectively.
- Even though not belonging exactly the same species, Kamoebas (IV) was one of few monsters to increase its size from its predecessors in this continuity. The other example is Godzilla Earth.
