Design[]
Appearance[]
Ghidorah takes on an appearance almost identical to his appearance in the Heisei era, having no mane and 8 horns protruding from his head.
Roar[]
Due to being a comic, we never hear Ghidorah roar. But Ghidorah's roars are portrayed with "Rees" and "Reeeaks".
Personality[]
Like other Ghidorahs, he is a brutal fighter that is willing to destroy anything in the way of his goal, including his own teammate. He also seems to be more competitive, being willing to fight Destoroyah for the right to finish off Godzilla.
History[]
Godzilla in Hell[]
King Ghidorah appears in the second issue of the series. He appears after Godzilla defeats the Demon Varan and sends him into a whirlpool with his gravity beams.
In the fourth issue, he and Destoroyah fought and were initially defeated by Godzilla, in the ruins of a recreation of Tokyo in Hell, surrounded by a wall of flesh. Suddenly, both kaiju heal and get back up, then relentlessly attack Godzilla together. Ghidorah and Destoroyah then work together to take down Godzilla. The two defeat the monster king rather easily, overpowering his atomic breath and knocking him to the floor. Any time any of the three monsters were killed or mortally wounded, they instantly recovered and continued their assault. After defeating him, Destoroyah and King Ghidorah begin to fight one another because they both want to finish Godzilla off for good. Godzilla eventually tricked King Ghidorah and Destoroyah into aiding him in escape by ducking when they both fired their beams and combining his beam with them, creating a blast powerful enough to destroy the wall. As Godzilla marched onward, King Ghidorah, Destoroyah, and everything else on the battlefield besides Godzilla disappeared into nothingness.
Abilities[]
Gravity Beams[]
King Ghidorah retains his signature Gravity Beams. He fires electrically charged yellow beams of light from each of his three heads, and have been shown to be on par with Godzilla's own atomic breath.
Flight[]
King Ghidorah is capable of achieving flight with his massive wings.
Regeneration[]
Due to his nature of being a hellish incarnation of Ghidorah, he possesses incredibly effective regeneration. He manages to recover from scars and missing horns within moments, and recovered from all of Godzilla's attacks during their battle almost instantly.
Strength in combat[]
During his fight with Godzilla, Ghidorah managed to physically overpower Godzilla in melee combat before picking Godzilla up off the ground dropping him out of the air. His tails and necks are also capable of wrapping around and restraining the King of the Monsters
