The following is a list of inter-company collaborations, cross-promotions, and tie-in material between the Godzilla franchise and associated characters within games and game brands. This list may include limited time events, special sets, and downloadable content (DLC) where Godzilla elements are featured in a non-Toho game.
Ace Combat Infinity[]
Godzilla appeared in the game in July 2015 as part of a cross-promotion for the the 2014 video game. He appeared in the mission "Tokyo Martial Law", along with the Showa Mechagodzilla.
The Ants: Underground Kingdom[]
The game featured Godzilla characters during the Ants/Godzilla limited-time collaboration in 2022. The event featured Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Rainbow Mothra (labeled as "Mothra).
The Battle Cats[]

Godzilla vs. Cats
The game collaborated with the Godzilla series in the "Godzilla Collaboration Event" held from June 7, 2021 to June 21, 2021 for BCJP and from August 16, 2021, to August 30, 2021 for all other versions. The event heavily promoted Shin Godzilla featured within exclusive stages that rewarded special items.
Battle Soccer: Champion of the Field[]

Godzilla and other Toho monsters in the franchise were featured in the 1992 soccer game.
Battle Spirits[]

On March 7, 2015, the Bandai trading card game Battle Spirits (バトルスピリッツ?) announced a "TOHO KAIJU" set of cards that includes various monsters created by Toho was released in Japan. Batoru Supirittsu
The 4-card booster packs, BSC19, cost ¥100 and the 8-card booster packs cost ¥200 plus tax.[1] A new booster pack containing Shin Godzilla and other new cards was announced for release in August 2016 as the BSC26 expansion.[2]

Brawl Stars[]

Brawl Stars artwork.
The game Brawl Stars featured a Brawl Stars x Godzilla collaboration within Brawl Pass Season 26 of May 2024, which included several new events, pins, skins, and sprays. Skins for Godzilla, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, and Mothra were released as Godzilla Buzz, Mecha-Tick Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla Nita, and Mothra Eve, respectively.

Call of Duty[]

Operation Monarch artwork promo
In celebration of Godzilla vs. Kong, the MonsterVerse versions of Godzilla and Kong were added to the Call of Duty games Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard in the 2022 Call of Duty collaboration "Operation Monarch". The event featured skins for both Godzilla and Kong, as well as a cameo of Shimo. In 2024, a new event titled "Godzilla x Kong: Battle for Hollow Earth", based on Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, was released in April for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Skins based on Kong, Godzilla Evolved, Skar King, and Shimo could be obtained, and playing with any of the skins equipped earned extra experience points.

City Shrouded in Shadow[]

In the 2017 game, the Godzilla franchise characters featured the Heisei incarnations of Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Battra, and Kiryu, as playable characters along with other tokusatsu franchises.
Clash of Kings[]

In celebration of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Clash of Kings announced a collaboration with the Godzilla series on May 27, 2019. The Godzilla DLC, released on June 4, contained the Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. incarnations of Godzilla, Mothra, and Mechagodzilla; the former two as castle skins and the latter as a boss, as well as Godzilla as a dragon. Players could obtain the features until June 30.
Dave the Diver[]
The "Dave the Diver X Godzilla" DLC event featured Burning Godzilla and Ebirah as obstacles encountered in the game. Miki Saegusa also made an appearance during the event.
Evony: The King's Return[]
The game collaborated with Legendary Pictures for an "Evony x Kong Skull Island" collaboration based on Kong: Skull Island in 2022. Beginning on November 4, the collaboration featured elements such as Kong, the Skullcrawlers, Mother Longlegs, Sker Buffalo, and Mire Squid serving as the game's bosses or as background cameos. James Conrad and Mason Weaver also appeared during the event. On February 17, 2023, the game collaborated again with the Godzilla franchise in a limited event, adding Burning Godzilla and the Godzilla's Castle decoration. In addition, both King Ghidorah and Biollante were featured as bosses in the event.
Fall Guys[]
In Fall Guys, Costume bundles for Godzilla, Mothra, Burning Godzilla, and King Ghidorah were released for the Featured Item shop on March 24, 2021. A MireMeka-Goji costume for Mechagodzilla (Kiryu) was released on November 3, 2022, to commemmorate Godzilla Day.
Fortnite[]

Chapter 6 "鬼HUNTERS" Season
In Fortnite, following the release of the Japanese-themed Chapter 6: Season 1 season titled "鬼HUNTERS" (Demon Hunters) on December 1, 2024, Godzilla in his evolved form from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire was introduced as the Bonus Outfit for the 鬼HUNTERS Battle Pass. [3]
On January 14, 2025, with the release of the v33.20 update, the Godzilla Evolved Outfit quests and secret cosmetics were officially revealed, along with an Energized Style inspired by Godzilla's blue energized appearance prior to his evolution. The following day, additional Outfits for Kong and Mechagodzilla were announced. [4] On January 16, 2025, the Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle, which included both characters and their respective cosmetics, was made available in the Item Shop. The two outfits were also sold individually. [4][5] Additionally, on the Fortnite Oninoshima Island, map changes related to Godzilla appeared: warning signs as well as direction signs to shelters concerning the Titan appeared in the main cities and towns, in addition the Named Location Shining Span, a gigantic bridge, was destroyed by the latter, becoming Shattered Span. Posters advertising for Godzilla and Kong, as well as references made to Monarch appeared throughout the island.
One day later, on January 17, 2025, players with the 鬼HUNTERS Battle Pass could unlock the Godzilla Evolved Outfit by completing Battle Pass quests requiring them to gain 24 levels. Simultaneously, an in-game event began, initially featuring a 20% chance of a portal to the Hollow Earth spawning at a random location among the seven locations possible, it later evolved to 40% chance. The first player to reach this portal could transform into Godzilla, gaining access to his abilities and becoming a raid boss. Once the Godzilla player was eliminated, the player who inflicted the most damage to the Titan was rewarded with the Godzilla Medallion and the Burst Quad Launcher weapon. Additionally, several companies such as airlines or restaurants on Oninoshima made ads based on Kong to promote themselves. The latter also has a 25% chance of appearing through a Rift at the beginning of the game, before leaving again, but only this can happen only if Godzilla's portal also appears.

A Nissan Skyline GT-R car was also added with customizable options like Godzilla and Kong decorative decal. Godzilla's cosmetic set also features Mothra as a glider.
The boss fight, skins, and cosmetics were available until February 21, 2025, the time when Season 1 was set to end.

Funko Pop! Blitz[]
In celebration of Godzilla vs. Kong, the MonsterVerse iterations of Godzilla, Kong, and Mechagodzilla were in the "Godzilla vs. Kong: The Showdown Event" in the 2020 mobile game. Variant figures included Kong (Battle Axe) and Neon City Godzilla.
GigaBash[]
Godzilla and other Toho kaiju made guest appearances in the game GigaBash during its DLC events. The "Godzilla 4 Kaiju Pack" DLC was released on December 6, 2022, with Heisei Godzilla, Gigan, Mechagodzilla Kiryu, and Destoroyah added as downloadable characters. On May 16, 2024, the "Godzilla: Nemesis" DLC pack focused on franchise villains King Ghidorah and Hedorah.
Kotodaman[]
Godzilla collaborated with the SEGA app Kyoudou Kotoba RPG Kotodaman in July 2023, in which Godzilla was featured in the "Great Defeat Event" (大討伐イベント?) minigame as a boss fight while attacking Kotodaman's annual summer festival. LifeAfter[]

LifeAfter x Godzilla vs Kong
In celebration of Godzilla vs. Kong, the zombie apocalypse survival game LifeAfter released the "LifeAfter x Godzilla vs. Kong" event from May 20, 2021, to June 3, 2021. Players could encounter Godzilla or Kong in separate stages. During the event, players could enter stages inspired by the film and can team up to challenge Godzilla and Kong in separate designed stages. The Godzilla Stage started at 12:00 and ended at 22:00 every day, and required players to defeat Godzilla before he destroys the Dawn Circuit within 10 minutes. In the Kong Stage, Kong would try to destroy mountains in the park stage, requiring survivors to enter the battlefield by cable car to take him on before proceeding with the second battle on ground. Defeating either of the Titans granted special themed gear, paints, room decor, and other items.[6]
Lords Mobile[]
In celebration of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the game held a special collaboration in which characters from the film were added on March 12, 2024.
Magic: The Gathering[]
The 2020 Magic: The Gathering set Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is inspired by giant monster and kaiju films; as part of the dech, Wizards of the Coast, in partnership with Toho, released eighteen cards as "Godzilla Series Monster" cards. These consist of previous monster cards reprinted with characters of the Godzilla series representing them. The tie-in drop series, "Secret Lair Drop Series: The Godzilla Lands", was released alongside the set, featuring settings and areas depicting Godzilla and other kaiju.
Minecraft[]
On January 30, 2024, a Godzilla-based DLC pack developed by Team-KYO and Impress was released for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. The pack came with several characters from the Showa era, Heisei era, and MonsterVerse, while other monsters could be spotted in the DLC's collection.
Monster Strike[]

MONSTER STRIKE event
The Japanese release of the game Monster Strike added the "GODZILLA X MONSTER STRIKE" expansion of Godzilla characters as gatcha that could be obtained via special Godzilla sharls. The event returned in 2014 to celebrate the release of Godzilla, with more Godzilla characters added to the game's second expansion.[7][8]
PUBG: Battlegrounds[]
In celebration of Godzilla vs. Kong, PUBG: Battlegrounds released the "PUBG Mobile x Godzilla vs. Kong" event. Godzilla, Kong, and Mechagodzilla were available during the event.
Puzzles & Survival[]

Godzilla was added to the match-3 zombie game in September 2021. The event featured the Millennium version of Godzilla, along with King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla, as gameplay backdrops.
The Movie Monster Game[]

Godzilla was featured as a licensed guest character in the 1984 Epyx game.
Roblox[]
In celebration of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, released limited-time items in April 2019: Godzilla Companion and Mothra Wings. Three more items, Rodan's Head, Godzilla Spine Backpack, and Ghidorah's Wings, were released in June 21, alongside the Creator Challenge Quiz where players could obtain them.
In 2021, Roblox held a second collaboration with Godzilla vs. Kong, and released the Roblox game "Islands" from March 19 to April 4. Awards were obtained by completing the Godzilla Island and Skull Island quests.
In 2024, in celebration of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Roblox held a third collaboration called "Godzilla X Kong Obby" on March 7. Limited-time items included Godzilla Tail, Godzilla Head, Kong Head, Kong Suit, Kong Battle Axe, Kong B.E.A.S.T. Glove, and Mini Kong.
SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble[]
As part of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe cross-collaboration pack, Shin Godzilla was added to the Kamen Rider game SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble as a DLC character.
Stern Pinball[]

Stern Pinball released a Godzilla-themed pinball machine for 2021. The machine is based on the Showa era incarnation of the franchise films and characters, with the plot revolving around the Xiliens use mind control rays to take control of various monsters, akin to Destroy All Monsters.
Super Monkey Banana Ball[]
Godzilla was added as a playable DLC character in the SEGA game following its 2.0 update on November 26, 2024. A special chibi version of character came with unique gameplay stats and train pickups. Godzilla could be obtained as part of the SEGA Pass included with Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Digital Deluxe Edition, or separately with the SEGA Pass as an add-on in the standard version of the game.
Super Robot Wars[]
Super Robot Wars X-Ω[]
Godzilla was featured in a 2016 limited event for Super Robot Wars celebrating the release of Shin Godzilla. During the event, the 1999/Millennium incarnation of Godzilla and two versions of Kiryu (one based on Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and the other colored with Eva-01 palette) appeared as obtainable playable units.
Super Robot Wars Y[]
Godzilla Singular Point will be one of the series featured in the main game for Super Robot Wars Y set to release on August 28, 2025.
Symphogear XD Unlimited[]

In Symphogear, Godzilla was featured in the 2019 limited "Godzilla vs. Symphogear" event, in which Godzilla characters were made obtainable in gacha cards of Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, and Gigan. The event returned in 2022 with new cards.
