The M4A3E8 Sherman Tank is an American battle tank utilized in the 1957 Toho film, The Mysterians and several subsequent films.

The Mysterians[]
The M4A3E8 Sherman Tanks appeared to attack the Mysterian Dome, however, their weaponry was inaffective and were melted by the Dome's weaponry.
Varan[]
The tanks appeared again to attack Varan, and was able to agitate and to some degree, wound the creature, however, the tanks did not succeed in killing the creature.
Mothra[]
The tanks appeared to attack Mothra.
King Kong vs. Godzilla[]
As Godzilla made landfall, he arrived near a military base. A group of Sherman Tanks rolled into battle, but were set on fire by Godzilla's atomic breath.
Atragon[]
The tanks appeared to fight the attacking Mu Empire.
War of the Gargantuas[]
The tanks fought against Gaira.
Godzilla vs. Gigan[]
The tanks appeared to fight Angruirus.
Godzilla vs. Megalon[]
The tanks appeared to fight Megalon.
Terror of Mechagodzilla[]
The tanks appeared to fight Titanosaurus.

The tanks appeared predominantly in the first issue of the comic, used by Ota Murakami in his encounter with Godzilla.
