The Maguma (マグマ Maguma?) of the AniGoji continuity is a species of giant walrus-like reptilian kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, a prequel novelization for the 2017 film, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.

Maguma brought on the total destruction of North Korea in 2024, and as it later approached Seoul in South Korea, the first use of tactical nuclear weapons against monsters was conducted by the United States. The reasoning behind it was to secure US residences in South Korea. This marked the first use of nuclear weapons against a kaiju.
Trivia[]
- This incarnation of Maguma, along with Rodan, are possibly the first Japanese-made kaijus ever to appear on Korean Peninsula, and are also the first kaijus to appear in modern North Korea if Hakuja from Pacific Rim: Uprising didn't pass through.
