Template:Infobox Monster The Megaguirus' (メガギラス Megagirasu?) of the Planet of the Monsters continuity is a species of giant dragon fly-like kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, a prequel novelization for the 2017 film, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters.
History

Along with Rodanｓ, Megaguirus, either as a single individual or more, had been attacking and preying on refugees crossing Siberia from Europe, more specifically vicinity to the line of the Trans‐Siberian Railroad.
In 2036 or later, two refugees were saved from an attack from Megaguirus by Exifs who shielded the Earthlings from the monster with its unarmed utility space ship for immigrants.
Ability
Humanity had hypothesized that flying monsters possibility possessed abilities to control gravity due to physical infeasiblity to achieve flights with their masses and weights.
Trivia
- Somehow, Megaguirus(es) and Rodan(s) coexisted with in the same regions, something their predecessors wouldn't achieve.
- Trans‐Siberian Railroad was attacked by Mothra (in a control of aliens) in 1968 film Destroy All Monsters.
- Megaguirus's ancestors were confirmed to inhabit deeper regions of China in 2000 film Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, and is feasible that they once lived nearby areas where Trans‐Siberian Railroad runs today.
