  • I'm going to phrase this as politely as I can, but your behaviour of creating articles with absolutely nothing in the history sections is getting pretty annoying. I can understand how useful IMPDB is for gathering information on vehicles, but you need to do the research too. Find clips of the film. Figure out what role the plane/helicopter had.

I'm having to clean up a huge mess behind you because of your ignorance in doing this.

  • Ben, I've noticed you are starting to make old mistakes when editing pages that I thought we had addressed. First of all, please remember to use the word "the." Almost every page you create says "first appeared in 19?? Godzilla film" when it should say "first appeared in the 19?? Godzilla film." Second, you are not using italics correctly. When you want to put italics around a hyperlink, do it like this: ''[[Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla]]''., not like this [[Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla|''Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla'']]''.'' I'm not sure if you're using visual editor or something, but that method of adding italics adds unnecessary text to the page and italicizes the period for no reason. If you are using visual editor, please use classic editor instead because visual editor does not work for this wiki. The third issue is images. The image at the top of the page should always be 250px, while any other thumbnail images on the page should be 200px. Nothing should ever be 220x220px.

A very simple way to avoid these mistakes is to proofread what you've written and sometimes use the preview edit feature, so you can actually look and catch any mistakes and avoid obvious grammar, spelling, and wiki code errors.

Then why are you still making these same mistakes? It's like you're not even trying to improve your edits. Just please look at the advice we're giving you and try to incorporate it into your edits.

    • In addition, please remember to completely fill out and properly format infoboxes, as you didn't do with the Trilobite page. An infobox full of broken code is pretty ugly to look at.

Uh, I am using the Visual Editor every time I edit a page. but I'm selecting "Use Source Mode" every time I open Visual Editor, because I don't like editing in Visual Editor (I like editing at Source Mode, so no mess in my editing).

  • Can you please just ease up a bit on creating pages? You are creating multiple pages every day and expecting the other users to complete them. It's getting difficult to keep up and starting to clutter the wiki a bit. So please, avoid creating pages for relatively unimportant things like minor characters or actors who have only played one role in a film relevant to this wiki, and try to stick to creating no more than one page a day.

  • I'm not here to scrutinize you, or tell you off, I just want to know why when you make a page, you add no content. I just want to know why.

  • Please stop creating entire pages for things or locations that are only very briefly mentioned in a single film.

    • It should be noted that you have already been called out on this, and seem to be refusing to follow protocol. We don't want to issue you with another block.

  • Please refrain from creating entire pages for things or locations that are only briefly mentioned in films. It serves no purpose and just wastes space by creating one-sentence long pages that provide no relevant information.

    • If at all possible, pages should be longer than just a simple sentence. If a subject can be explained in more than one sentence, do so. If not, consider whether you should be making the page or not.

    • I would also take in to consideration whether a character deserves a page or not. I it is not a main character, and they don't do much if anything in the film, they do not need a page.

  • Please refrain from using VisualEditor to create or edit articles. It leaves a mess which the other admins have to clean up.

I am also instructing you to read up on our policy on syntax, which can be found at Wikizilla:Syntax. Please read this page if you plan to edit the wiki any further, as I am sure you don't want another fiasco, just as we don't want one.
