Hello DreamBrisdin, I've seen you on the Zoids wiki and I can see that you are a big fan, now if you're wondering why I messaged you here instead then that is because at the moment my wiki profile is prevented from editing there (they didn't like my Zoid classification system), but that doesn't mean I can't still enjoy chatting with other Zoids enthusiasts and I can tell you have other similar interests as well.
Anyway I figured that since you have such an interest in Zoids, it occurred to me that you might enjoy reading my blog posts have a look at them and let me know what you think:
Yes, they didn't like it when I created an article featuring my Zoid classification system without asking, which I did to show them what it would look like, and I only did so to get a reply from them because they had stopped responding to a previous discussion we were having about it.
I don't understand why they were so upset about that, since it wasn't any hassle for them to delete the article and I was simply interested in discussing how to implement it, I think that conversation was on Sylvanelite's message wall in case you were interested in having a look at it.
Anyway if you're also interested in Gundam and Alien vs. Predator then I've also made several blog posts on those franchises that you might like as well and these are listed on my Mechapedia profile page.
Oh they've just had a bit of an issue with the article categories on the Zoids wiki since last year when a user there decided to go creating them willy-nilly for all kinds of arbitrary characteristics, so it wouldn't be so much that your edits don't meet the current style as it is a throwback to that previous issue, which still seems to be a sensitive topic for them and one that an article featuring my Zoid classification system would essentially make redundant.
And regarding my suggestion to them about the creation of an article featuring my Zoid classification system, the main reason they gave was that it was too big for an article (though I explained to them why that wouldn't actually cause any kind of problem and also suggested the creation of multiple articles featuring different segments of it, if they still felt that article size was an issue) and seemed only interested in trying to come up with reasons why not to feature it on an article there, despite all of the potential benefits of doing so that I told them of.
Though I think all this is really just about how I went and made it clear to all of them there that Zoids: Wild is a load of premasticated drivel which doesn't actually do anything for the franchise, despite it being the only 'official' Zoids anime in over a decade, especially when I was able to create a perfectly sound and well structured projection of a sequel to the Zoids: New Century anime, which is something that Zoids fans actually want to see.
Hello! Sorry to bust in, but currently we're dropping the super specific categories for articles. Or, well, not using them. Only because categories are meant to group general things together without being too vague or too specific, and obviously, the ones meant for certain movies or games are super specific, and only serve a small, niche purpose in comparison to a slightly more open category set, like this, which encompasses many things, with all things being related to each other in some way, shape or form.
So categories like this should just be replaced with this.
Sorry to explain this after you've done so much, I don't want to make it seem like I don't appreciate your work, because I do, your work ethic's strong. But the categories are just being moved to more general ones, now.
Hi, thank you for a message! No problem at all! It's me to say sorry that I didn't understand the priority... I just saw that some tags haven't been working, and yeah, I admit that I added some tags by mistakes and I was wondering how to DELETE tags...
No need to be sorry, it's all fine, just as long as you get the process.
And deleting tags is pretty easy, depending on which editor you use. I use one on the PC, which just allows me to remove them on a sidebar, as seen below.
I don't know what editor you run, but I know if you're on mobile, you have to type in the categories, and adding them in how I do stops them from showing up on article's code. Kinda a major oversight, and a habit I should break. But it's probably why removing them is difficult/confusing for you now, if I'd have to guess. Different editors.
Hello, Brisdin! I found this recently, and since I know you're fluent with the Japanese side of things, wanted to know if this is true, or not. Since I think you were the one to put up the information on the December, 2016 Nikkei issue about Shin Godzilla.
Hi, thanks for this. I'm sorry I haven't updated other information especially about MA. You know, regarding Hedorah is especially tough and complicated to translate....
I've just checkef it, and yes, Toho established The Godzilla Strategic Conference to promote the franchise. Not officially decided, but the spokesman mentioned that they want to make it happen.DreamBrisdin (talk) 06:59, March 16, 2018 (UTC)
Did really Godzilla can *Contains a small universe within its body??
So far I know, none of book (Art of Shin Godzilla) has mentioned how will Shin Godzilla become after 5th form.
Besides, The Art of Shin Godzilla is basically a book about movie making, so there is no fictional data about Godzilla but all about how they made thia movie.
Maybe the information is from another book?
If you can show me a scan of the page and from which book, it will be nice since the section "Future Evolutions" was removed due to lack of source material.
Soo in order to bring back the information, we need the source where you found the information. :)
Apex PredatorX, I got those information from online review of this magazine. Maybe I was wrong to put the information I haven't read the source myself, but future forms after the 5th are said to be mentioned in this publishment according to the reviews .DreamBrisdin (talk) 23:48, November 25, 2017 (UTC)
Feel free to delete any of my edits if there could have been any wrongs.
And I'm not sure if movie staff officially worked about the future forms theorized in the first magazine, if I'm correct, those forms are indicated by real scientist(s). DreamBrisdin (talk) 04:48, November 26, 2017 (UTC)
Just a quick note about this that I'll probably add myself. It'd do us well to emphasize that this was written by those in scientific fields as hypothetical "evolutions" for the monster, over entirely official ones. As far as we know, only the fifth form's been confirmed, whereas other notable people seemingly took stabs at what could come after.
Thank you very much, I'm honored! I've been worried about gaps in knowledges/datas between Japan and the rest of the world (I believe this was mostly because there have not been many people who've put effort to fix), so this wiki is actually the best place for me to make some actions. The content in Nikkei Science Issue was supervised by Hidekai Anno himself!! and acording a friend knowledge in Japanese, the events in the book can be considered as an alternative continuity were Shin Godzilla fully evolved until became a God-Like being.
Wow, thank you very much!! This is new to me (I should have read myself since I live in Japan...), and I believe this is an important information to everyone as well. DreamBrisdin (talk) 14:56, January 21, 2018 (UTC)
