Mikael is shown to be quite snarky and aggressive towards people that aren't particularly favored by him. He yells at others to tell them to do what he does. Trapper himself says that he has an aggressive personality. Despite this, Mikael still keeps his cool when he isn't annoyed.
Mikael sarcastically voiced how money and politics go hand in hand whilst commenting about Ilene Andrews and her superiors conversation over the U.S. Government wanting to takeover Hollow Earth spelunking, with the industrial tycoons and big business barons whom bribe them looking to exploit its lush resources.
Mikael showed he was full of himself as well as disrespectful and absentminded, ignoring Trappers inkling of upcoming danger in place of technological findings. Becoming so distracted with laying down the law with his entourage, he failed to notice the Tree Mimic set to devour him.
Origins[]
Not much is known about Mikael's past, except for that, at some point, he joined Monarch to serve as a HEAV pilot.
They stumble upon the Hollow Earth Kong Monitoring Station, which was destroyed by the Skar King. They eventually head back to their transport.
After a hiccup with the HEAV’s power, it rights itself and lands in the dense jungle of lower Hollow Earth.
During the hike, Mikael shows notable dislike towards Bernie Hayes and Trapper. As they decide where they should go when Trapper senses danger up ahead, getting into an argument with him and Bernie just to voice his disdain for them both.
Mikael resorts to yelling at and insulting them in an attempt to establish a pecking order before a Tree Mimic eats him alive. Something which Trapper tried to warn him of beforehand.
