Millennians (ミレニアン Mirenian?) are a race of extraterrestrial kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the 1999 Godzilla film, Godzilla 2000: Millennium.
Biology[]
Millennian biology when combined is akin to that of a cephalopod, featuring a broad, flat head, and multiple tentacle like limbs. It's unknown as to what their forms before this looked like.
In the manga adaptation, the Millenians are portrayed very differently, instead being a race of humanoid entities that merge together into Orga.
Culture[]
Not much is known of the Millennian's culture, however, it's possible they may be more peaceful in nature as the specific Millennian seen during the events of Millennium doesn't seem to want to fight, until it's forced to by Godzilla.
History[]
Godzilla 2000: Millennium[]
The Millennians traveled to Earth to establish an empire, during the Cretaceous period. They subsequently went dormant, and were awakened in the present day, before continuing their mission and searching for a new form that would allow them to adapt to Earth's atmosphere.
Eventually, the race decided on absorbing Godzilla's cells, as it deemed it the perfect vessel for adaptation. The race would confront the monster multiple times, attempting to gain knowledge on it, before betraying their intentions to humanity.
Before the final confrontation against Godzilla, the Millennians would begin mutating from the DNA absorption, becoming Orga, and subsequently battling and succumbing to Godzilla's power.
