Parting Lovers (さよならの恋人たち Sayonaranokoibito-tachi?) is the second episode of the web series, Godziban.
Plot[]
One night two lovers met on an overpass on the boyfriend's birthday. Though the boyfriend did appreciate this, he told his girlfriend that they were breaking up. Though she thought it was a joke at first, she eventually figured out that he wasn't. Distraught, she exclaimed that she thought they would be together forever as she left. She would then try to chase after him but her left heel broke, causing her to fall to the ground. As she continued crying, she noticed Kamachi approaching her. Sensing her sadness, Kamachi tried to offer comfort, however, Kamachi would be kicked off the overpass. The woman eventually began walking home, noticing Kamachi in a tree. Eventually she decided to accept Kamachi's comfort.
In the Grandpa Hedo segment, Grandpa Hedo and Young Hedo continued walking. Young Hedo asked why the morning son rose but the setting sun didn't. Grandpa Hedo answered that if the setting sun rose, Young Hedo would forget to welcome the past and move on to tomorrow.
