Russia is Earth's largest country, and spans from Eastern Europe, to the Bering Sea near Japan and Alaska in the United States of America. From 1922 to 1991, it was the central country of the Soviet Union, which controlled much of Eastern Europe and Northern Asia. Russia is either referenced or appears in several of Toho's movies.

Russia itself doesn't appear directly, but rather is combined with the USA to create the fictional country of Rolisica, which shares aspects of both countries. Mothra travels to Rolisica to attack New Kirk City and retrieve her twin Shobijin fairies.

After the Kilaaks attacked Monsterland and took control of the monsters, they unleashed Rodan to attack the Russian capital city of Moscow.

The Return of Godzilla
Set in the closing years of the Cold War, the Soviet Union sends the Balashevo, piloted by Kashirin, to Tokyo to liase with the Americans and Japanese in the midst of a nuclear crisis. When Godzilla submerges himself, the Balashevo is damaged, causing its controls to the Soviet Nuclear Attack Satellite to become damaged, ultimately resulting in a nuclear missile being launched directly at Tokyo. In the American dub of the film, titled Godzilla 1985, the Soviets are portrayed as deliberately shooting the missile at the city, most likely to give the Americans a more heroic image when they destroy the missile by shooting one of their own rockets at it.
Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
After returning to 2204 with M11, Emmy Kano locates the body of King Ghidorah in the Sea of Okhotsk, which lies just above Japan, and is in Russian Territory. It is also revealed that the Godzillasaurus that the Futurians placed in the Bering Sea was exposed to radiation released from a Russian submarine crash in the 1970's, transforming it into Godzilla.
Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 2 and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
Adonoa Island, the island where Rodan and Baby Godzilla were discovered, is located in the Bering Sea between Alaska and Russia, and is said to have beena dumping site for Russian nuclear waste and more recently was visited by Russian petroleum drillers. As a sub-adult, Godzilla Junior later attempted to return to his nest on the island before being redirected to Tokyo.

Godzilla
According to Ishiro Serizawa and Vivienne Graham, when Godzilla was awakened by an American nuclear submarine in the 1950's, he attacked and fed on several American and Russian nuclear subs. The Americans and Russians both initially believed that the other nation was responsible for the attacks, but eventually discovered Godzilla's existence. In the present day, the male M.U.T.O. grabbed a Russian nuclear submarine from the ocean and dredged it onto land in Hawaii, where he fed on its nuclear torpedoes. Template:Locations Template:Era
