Shunya Sato (佐藤 隼也 (サトウ・シュンヤ),   Satō Shun'ya^?) is a character from the series Godzilla Singular Point. He is a bureaucrat working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but he was moved to the administration bureau to work with Misakioku as chief staff member under Tsunetomo Yamamoto. After contacting the Otaki Factory after receiving a mysterious alarm in Misakioku, he stepped into the mystery of Godzilla.

Etymology

• The name Shunya means "falcon" (隼) (shun) and "to be, also" (也) (ya).
• Shunya's surname Sato means "help, aid" (佐) (sa) and "wisteria" (藤) (to).
