Steve Woodward is a character created by Legendary Pictures who first appeared in the 2017 MonsterVerse film, Kong: Skull Island.
History

Woodward was first seen taking attendance on the expedition team and was surprised to know that Mason Weaver is a woman. He later helped in surveying Skull Island until the appearance of an aggravated Kong scattered the survivors. Woodward eventually joined Packard’s group and encountered some of the island’s wildlife before eventually reuniting with James Conrad’s group. Woodward suggested leaving Skull Island as soon as possible, but Packard was insistent to find his right-hand man Jack Chapman, who was still separated from everyone. Unbeknownst to them, Chapman was already eaten by a Skullcrawler.
