yeah!shinsei rocks!don't you ever wished godzilla was recreated?with new stories, new monsters...The shinsei series totally recreated godzilla!i got a question! why they don't tell us where did this new godzilla came from? --Ultimate godzilla 21:36, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
They actually do it's just a little abstract most of the time--Twilitlink 04:25, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
I like showa and heisei. Shinshei series have better graphics and fight scenes though. I guess I like all the eras equally. I love monster fights. And they DO tell you where he comes from
Troycool - Mess with the best, Go down like the rest 05:15, 27 February 2009 (UTC) In the heisei series at the end of Godzilla v.s. Destroyah godzilla junior was revitalized from near death when godzilla had his meltdown and became the new godzilla. What happen to him? Is it possible that they would make a godzilla movie where godzilla from the heisei series battles the godzilla from the shinshei series. That would be awsome.

I fixed a minor spelling error in the article.
Fixing a few actor errors.

since he has the bones of the very first Godzilla, or at least samples of them, in him, wouldn't it be more precise to say that Kiryu is Godzilla's ancestor rather than a clone? CashSeville 03:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)CashSeville
Longest Running Film Series?
Isn't Godzilla the longest running film series? Some say James Bond is, but he came out in the late 60's. SpaceGhidorah 16:58, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
I believe your right. James Bond only has 23 films and the first film (Dr.No) was released in 1962. While Godzilla has 27 films (excluding the american one) and the first one was released in 1954.Timelordrules! 13:52, March 18, 2011 (UTC)
Godzilla Size Comparison picture
The '80 meters' size comparison is highly innacurate, for the milleenium Goji's anyway.
Godzilla 2000's Big G was 55 metres tall, which is closer to the 50 meter template. GvsMegs and the Kiryu Saga Gojis are all also 55 metres tall. GMK Godzilla is 60 metres tall, once again alot shorter than 80 metres. And FW Godzilla is a whpping 100 metres tall, exactly on the Heisei Goji template.

I'd like to add to the wiki the 3rd version of the cut of the movie Godzilla, in France the movie has a cut with almost all the original cut with some add from the american cut with Raymond Burr, the movie is completly dubbed in french, there is no subtitle, in the end the character of Raymond Burr is not on the boat which go to destroy Godzilla, I would ask to people on Godzilla wiki if I can add this version on Wiki and if you want more information about this version, I own the VHS tape, it's very rare to find it in France since only the original movie subtitled is easy to find in collection HK movie.

The title speaks for itself.

Just be patient.WikisEditor 21:08, March 18, 2011 (UTC)
well, the reboot is taking a long time to make, I think we should be patient and wait like true fans because the longer we wait the better the product will be. As far as I know the remake hasnt started filming but the production rate has been going good. Metroid101-[ADMIN]-Talk-Contibutions-Fanfiction 02:14, March 24, 2011 (UTC)
Be honest, should Godzilla vs Megaguirus have a 2012 sequel, considering the fact that the Godzilla featured in it could burn its way out from underneath the city at any time with its atomic breath? I think it should.- ArchangelGundam 19:25, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

http://legendary.tumblr.com/post/85942673421/godzilla-facts Another official source which I cannot find right now says he is also 90'000 tons.
- Talk pages still exist?!
- No, for real, you NEED the source for his weight. 22:57, May 18, 2014 (UTC)
90'000 tons of water is 90'000 tons. So as they are pretty much saying Godzilla is 90'000 tons. ItachiWasAHero (talk) 04:27, May 19, 2014 (UTC)
This says that only his TAIL is 167.74m long. So including the rest of his body... he is frickin' LONG. Biggest Godzilla yet by far. ItachiWasAHero (talk) 01:21, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Th new Godzilla website is what says that his tail is what is 167.74m.. I swore I posted that link there.. ItachiWasAHero (talk) 04:00, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Your opinion on Godzilla being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
This may seem unlikely, but I'd honestly like Godzilla to star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of his appearances in Marvel comic books. Plus, he could fight the Avengers or maybe even Fin Fang Foom or something and Disney could make a completely CG-i model of Godzilla of their own, similar to Legendary and Warner Bros. in the Godzilla-Kong films. I would like to know your opinion on this idea, because I personally like it. What do you guys think? Wolverine-Man (talk) 16:56, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
