The United States Army (USA) is the main branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of the seven U.S. uniformed services.

In 1973, during the final phases of the Vietnam War, Monarch official Bill Randa recruited an army squadron called the Sky Devils as a military escort to Skull Island. During the expedition, many soldiers were killed with only very few surviving.
