Yasugon (ヤスゴン^?) is a kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 4 of Go! Godman, Godman vs. Yasugon and Tsunokeler.

Design

Appearance

In Godman, Yasugon had a head that oddly resembles a beaver and dark grey skin with yellow hued spines. In Greenman, Yasugon was largely unchanged, but had more spikes and his head was shaped in a slightly different way.

History

Go! Godman

Yasugon in Go! Godman

Yasugon was the fourth monster to fight Godman. He appeared randomly to chase a boy who had scared two girls until the boy climbed a tree and called on godman who fought yasugon until he surrendered to godman.

However yasugon wasn't safe yet, first he had a huge splinter on his leg until the boy who he had chased away helped him out and walked through the woods with him. Then tsunokeler appeared and did battle with yasugon, yasugon put up a great fight until tsunokeler broke his arm by slamming and punching it into a tree. Godman then appeared to do battle with tsunokeler who was eventually defeated.

Go! Greenman

Yasugon in Go! Greenman

Yasugon also appeared in episode 37 of Go! Greenman, he was the thirty-eighth monster to battle Greenman.
